I'm not sure, but the magic wand might have retired when he did. In any event it would surely need new Z-siZe batteries by now.
A little rain never hurts a Z; it's the road salt that converts them to iron oxide.

The magic wand has been transformed into an App on the cell phone called "Radar" and so far looks like we will be in the clear later on. The last of the storm might hit here in RI in about an hour or so, CT looks clear, maybe some small spurts of rain, but storm is breaking up and heading to north east.

Hey Paul
Where can we get the requist specialized mini wand/styluZ to uze with the app zo we can move/Zlide thingz around a bit... or even totally Zelect and Zwipe undesireables off the screen?!
And would such wand also enable putting a pause (via a selectable drop down time frame) in effect?!

If not readily available... Perhaps our WebWiz Jim can configure up such and sell them with the CTZCC logo!... Group Buy anyone?

Big Al, I'm headed your way regardless of what weather we're having. I've been wet before and it never hurt. Free food and Z people are an irresistible draw.

Well there are many weather apps out there, I think I just took one of the first ones on google play store. The one problem with mine is even though I have clouds checked on my settings, it is not showing me the clouds, so therefore I can not see the whole storm system. So as I see more rain pockets forming from the west to south west tells me it might continue. So if I was a weather man, I'd say 50% chance, can't go wrong there. :P Definition of Weather man> A person that knows weather it's going to rain, or weather it's not. I got wipers and an umbrella.

Wow, what a great event! So relaxing and such a chilled out vibe...so nice to meet everyone. Thanks for all the tips and advice for the brand newest member of ctZcc.
You all made me feel so welcome and to AL and Renee, I appreciate your warmth and hospitality. Bravo!

What a good time we all had at the Big Al's Barandgrille and International Z emporium! About 18 people descended upon Al & Rene's waterfront site and ate too much wonderful food. I quit after about 5hrs but everyone was still going strong when I escaped.
The food was excellent ~ thanks to everyone who had anything to do with that ~ and after all these years of knowing him, I learned that Big Al has a really good taste for music!
We filled the back yard up with Zs and covered the big deck with laughter and conversation. It was good to meet the Canadian folks, who shared with us loads of stories about Zs and other fascinating road iron. They had spent the day at the casino's Barrett-Jackson car auction and looked like they welcomed the chance to sit down and relax.
Our Z girls all looked pretty and teamed together to be the East Coast's Best Hostesses. Rene was just everywhere and made absolutely sure everybody had a good time and too much food. Al had a great time seeing his yard and house full of happy Z people. The weather was excellent; not too hot, no rain and no bugs, either.
We met Jeff from East Lyme for the first time and he's a great guy, very interesting, and he brought us a nearly-pristine 300zx to drool over. Try as we may, we couldn't find anything wrong with it and he really got a steal of a deal on it. THEN he got to drive it all the way home from Pennsylvania! What a great way to bond with a new Z 8) .
Thanks Al and Rene, for the great hospitality, food and music. I have tried 6 times to get out there previously, and today was my first success.
I will probably not be hungry again until July.

Frank T

Yeah
Great time as always plus Everything Frank said!
Chris Karl chose to stay over at my place afterwards so the Canadians could party later and leave Big Al's later in morning vs drive him real eraly.
I let him drive to Bradley in my '02 NSX (sorry guys but he waned to) the Airport to settle his curiosities.
Now I have to find a good one for him to add to his Z's!
The Canadians will be stopping by shortly for a brief visit too.
So I (in addition to Al and Renee') get some extra Z ness this weekend.
Woo Hoo
