Some more, I'm sorry about the quality. Like I said, I'm not a great photographer - and I had to reduce these in size quite a bit to get them to post here. What is difficult to show in the pictures is the scale of the place......it is a large venue. The park is beautiful and serves as a perfect backdrop for a car show. This one in particular has taken on the vibe of a fair almost. There is music, food, vendors, etc.....it's just a big event. Over 600 show vehicles were there this year and I've seen more than that in years past.

I also don't mean to post a picture of my Z but I'm going to, I'd feel silly posting all these car show pictures on a Z club website and not have any pictures of Zs. Some years there are a couple more of them but this year the Z marque was few and far between. There were only two S30 cars, mine was one of them. The 2017 Challenger shown below belongs to my friend Bryan.....he is the one who took the plaque for farthest distance this year.

Last set. There were far too many vehicles to photograph everything. I hope this gives a good feel for what went on. Side Note: My friend Bill owns the 300zxtt shown below. It has some JWT upgrades and is rated around 450hp he says. The car is immaculate, really great example of one. Also the owner of the orange westy said he has owned it for 25 years, it was in gorgeous condition inside and out. I told him how my grandfather had one like it when I was young, and each summer we would go camping with it. He said he did the same with this one with his kids when they were growing up. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Jay

Aww, this was just the wrong event to miss. It looks like there was something for everyone, regardless of their tastes. I love the old '20s and '30 road cars and almost everything from the 1960s. That 1923 Ford "T" runabout roadster looks like a whole season of fun, and the Packard is probably my favorite. Tom Waz is having convulsions over that "drive fast" Volvo. You shot a lot of good cars up close, but I'm also seeing some great stuff in the background. Very glad to zee your 260 looking so brilliant and representing the Z world! Did you win a trophy? Why don't I have a Bedini Motorsports window decal? Never knew he sold them. Duhhh. whose car was it displayed on? NEXT YEAR!!! Good photos, thanks! |

Thanks Frank, I'm glad I was finally able to post the pictures. Would have been a shame if I couldn't have shared them. No trophies for me. I don't really bring it for that though. I do it just to let people have a look at her. The decal is on my car, it's just something I had made up because I wanted one. I had a couple made for Vinny and mailed them to him. Thought he'd get a kick out of it. Pm me your mailing address, I'll get you one if you'd like. Jay |

I always attend those meets hoping to see old Studebakers (Hawks, GT Hawks, Golden Hawks, Avantis, war trucks, work trucks, pickup trucks) or early motorcycles. Yessir, I've PM'd you. Thanks! |
