WHEW!!! I had a good time. 31 members (one walked in while we were leaving), about 2 doZen cars, more piZZa than we could all eat. Thanks to Quinn for hosting us again and for the open-door standing invitation to come back any time. It was good weather at the site (altho you could hear thunder all around us) and temperatures were near perfect for an evening out with the cars. Thanks to all the newbies who showed up tonight, and thanks even more for all the "OLD newbies" who haven't visited the Club in years, but came tonight. It was great to zee you again. Some startling cars, including demo's newly-engined 510 with sidedraft Mikkies and Gary's mid-engined spaceship thingy. Paul came in from RI, followed Big Al to Vinny's where they dropped off Al's 240Z then swooped down to zee us at Middlebury. (I've known Paul now for more than 8 years and every time I see his car, the engine looks different). Tom Wasney showed up in his immacualte new ZX, with Mike Englehart in the passenger seat. Taylor (Tenacious Z) brought his 300ZXT, Mike Winters brought his show-stopping 240, Special Guest Star Jim Kinsella spoke with us about painting cars and even Scotty Cole showed up! A solid doZen regulars had a good time zeeing each other again and I think everyone had a good time. Alas, neither Julia nor Angelina nor even Ginetta showed up tonight but hey, it was all about the cars anyway, right? Right?  We exchanged some Z news and remembered our recent losses of Bill Moreau and Clayton Pace. We introduced some new members and that was fun. We continue to add more and more Z experience to our 'shop'. We heard of some plans several members have for their cars this zeason and determined that some of us can help some of us with those projects. There were 12 boxes of about 5 types of piZZa and we nearly finished them all. It was tempting to waddle back out into the parking lot after the chow and the meeting and just socialiZe, but the mosquitos found our coordinates and sent for reinforcements, so I boogied. You guys and gals looked happy, swatting mosquitos as I motored past you on my way out of the lot. Thanks all for a good time and for cleaning up your mess before we left. We need to resume monthly meetings. I suggest North Haven Executive Nissan next. Pictures, anyone? Frank T |

Nice evening, great people, awsome cars. Thanks Quinn, you're an excellent host and the pizza hit the spot also. Frank, there was close to 20+ people and at least 15+ cars. Well worth the trip from Poughkeepsie. The club is still alive. Will try to get some pics up.

Great day for all things Z. Dropped off lil red at East Coast Z Guru Vinny Bedini's shop for some TLC and then caught a ride to the meet w/ Paul Mackin in his 240. Good to see old and new faces; we're still alive and well! Thanx Quinn, we'll be back. Al |
