Sorry to hear that, Rick. Let us know if we can do anything for you (like eat your donuts).

Karl, you're offering Howie free coffee and donuts??
He'll be there before the doors open.

Tmrw's high is forecast at 46*F.

Went out and started the Z today just to make sure it remembered what to do.
Zee y'all in the morning.

Frank

Hey, hey,

Thanks Paul for setting this up! It was good to see Z friends, and a few others, on a bit more than chilly Sunday morning.
Hopefully there will be a few of these events during the 2018 Z Season.
Hoping everyone has a pleasant Thanksgiving and wonderful holidays.

Alan

About two doZen cars and slightly more people made this a really good Z experience. We got to rub shoulders with other sportscar people who were not fortunate enough to own Zs, but were nice folks nonetheless. We all got to drool on Karl's new TT and we saw a 1973 Triumph TR6 ~ with pushrods! How quaint!
8)

The 6-cylinder TR cars were very popular until the Z happened upon the scene. Then TR champion Bob Tullius (#44) ran up against Datsun champion Bob Sharp (#33) and blew up countless pushrod Triumphs attempting to beat the OHC 240Z. Tullius was actually the more-experience driver, but Sharp had the better car, so C-Production went to the cheaper Datsun crew so often, British Leyland withdrew the more-costly TR6 from the production line.

We had fun in the parking lot and the temperature rose to a balmy 46*F. Somebody parked a wonderfully-restored Crosley HotShot woody stationwagon at the head of the parking lot for all to zee when we entered or left. Howie didn't make it up from Lawn Gyland, so we ate his donuts.

Thanks to Paul Jensen for setting this up. It was a good idea, well executed, and lots of fun.

Karl-Thank you for your generous offer. I was actually thinking about it but I would have had to leave my house between 5:30-6:00AM to arrive on time. I'll have to try those delicious donuts some other time.

Howie

Frank- I thought you didn't eat donuts... or was it that you don't drink coffee? Was it a Boston Creme donut? Lol.

Time to bite the bullet and get Z timing belt changed (12 years/5k miles). Praying to the Z gods that nothing gets screwed up or damaged.

Howie ~ good memory. I forswore both coffee and donuts 12 years ago. Haven't touched either since then. Just came for the cars and camaraderie.

Lots of people took pictures of this event. Getting them to stick onto this website is another matter. :?

Here's a picture of the partial line-up which included (but is mostly hidden) an awesome twin turbo Mazda RX7 and Gary's Acura "'spaceship".

Here are a few more pics from the Donut gathering last Sunday. I really had to shrink these pics to get them to a size which can be put on our site, Sorry. Some good shots of Karl's prestine 30ZX TT.

Thanks again to Paul Jensen for setting up this last of the season event!

Sweet pictures of Sweet rides at a sweets shop. How cool is that? :D 8) Nice job shrinking this pictures.  I wish I was able to be as proficient as you, but several attempts have dissuaded me from ever trying again. Grumble, grumble. :? :?

I'm resending the first picture again a little larger along with a pic of Karl's 300ZX TT engine.
