Just got a message from Frank who can't make Sunday either. Soooo, we will postpone this for a couple of weeks.
This will give us more time learning the verses to Alice's Restaurant

As life would have it, Sunday's not looking good for me, either. By the time I could join you, it would be past noon and I'd have to be home too early to actually enjoy my brief time up north. Knowing some of you can't make it next week, I vote we postpone this trip for a couple weeks to a time when more of us can make it? The weather is due to break cooler in a few weeks anyway, which would make the trip more comfortable for many of us. What say ye all? |

As a consolation to this postponement, I waited until the roads dried and drove the Z along the seacoast for 44 miles, closing the garage door just as it started raining again. Many people on the beach, lots of smiles and waves and thumbs-up and beeps from other cars, including a parked State Trooper. A brief complimentary conversation with the driver of a P-1800 Volvo while a light changed. Last year I remember getting a headlamp flash, a beep and a thumbs up from a Ferrari Spyder in Hamden. That might have been a high-water mark for my Z. Hope the weather where you are let y'all drive your Zs today. |
