You thinkin' about driving along with us this year, Big Al, or just popping up Guerrilla-style like last year? It might be good to at least have a chance to sit and talk with you this year.

(Big Al had two other stops to make in different states last year, so we never saw each other at the motel. He attended the Meet & Greet but I couldn't find it. On Watkins Glen day he just fell out of the clouds, caught up to the caravan which had left 30 minutes before him, raced Li'l Red around the track and then disappeared off over yet another horizon. I never even got to z him face to face).

Al, a bunch of us are talking about visiting Scranton for their Fathers' Day car show and meeting Jay, one of our newer members. Snoop over to FATHERS DAY IN PA and see if you can cruise in with us.

I will include the ZCCR Motorfest 2017 event on the ZCCNE schedule.

Sounds like fun!

Well, I was comparing the Father's Day car show in Scranton with the 10,000-Z convention in Texas, so I think Big Al is going to the better show; his will be all Zs and Z nuts. In Scranton we might be the only Zs there; Petunias in an onion patch, so to speak.

I surely didn't mean for it to be confused with comparing your ZCCR annual event with anything else! Regret the confusion. Your events are more fun than what should be legal.

Trying to talk our new Scranton member Jay into Zee-ing up to Rochester this year, too, if he can loan his kids out for a weekend.

I'm sorry to interrupt... but are you saying to Frank that you'll be driving your Z to Texas from Connecticut? Wow. If you are, what's the distance and how many days do you expect to be on the road? And if I misinterpreted the conversation then please accept my apology for sticking Z noise into Z conversation.

He drives Lil Red all over the country, Howard. I think he's had it in about 100 states so far.

Never uses a GPS, never mounted windscreen wipers on it, changes out major parts by the roadside, sometimes drives without lights; he's a real Z Pioneer. Last year while you and I were at Webstah together he and Lil Red had appointments in (I think) Pennsylvania and in the midwest somewhere (Michigan?). He added Webstah to his agenda and made it to NY just in time for the meet & greet and to race Lil Red around Watkins Glen with you, then headed off to another two or three states.

He doesn't actually live in that car, but I'll bet he has more seat time in it than any of us have in ours.

Golly gee. Talk about a mover and a shaker. Al must have one hellova Z that allows him to put on all those miles. Safe traveling Al with smooth roads and clear skies. 8)

This is marked on my calendar, my wife and I will sort out how we are going to work it later. She has allot of family in Rochester and I believe her great aunt used to live in Webster.

Im really looking forward to this event, it sounds like a great time and the countryside up there is beautiful. Lots of great driving! Not to mention driving my Z at Watkins Glen would be a dream come true for me, the closest I'll ever come to being a Z road racer!

Also Al, you rock. Road tripping your Z all over the place..... That's what it's all about. I'm glad to know SOMEONE is doing it.

Jay
