The ZCCNE planning board would like to know of any CTZCC events planned for in 2017, so we can include them in our schedule and avoid scheduling ZCCNE events on the same date. Do you have a date for Lime Rock with Bob Sharp? Do you have an October date for Ross's Cookout? Any planned car show this year? ZCCNE is considering a "Driver Education Track Day" ( using your own Z) at Thompson Speedway. Is anyone from CTZCC or NY or NJ interested? Please advise ASAP. |

I'm interested in the drivers course, Bill. I've not yet seen Thompson Speedway since they reopened it (I couldn't find it the only time I went looking) and I always consider myself a candidate for driver improvement. I'll be watching for details as this approaches. *NEW JOINS: Our member Bill is PreZident of the prestigious Z Car Club of New England (ZCCNE) who sponsored and hosted the annual National Z Convention (ZCon) up in Nashua NH in 2013. They did a fantastic job and totally expended themselves to a man. I suspect most of them might have recovered by now but their effort was enough to still justify a few lingering victims. Bill drives his enviable 280 down from the FroZen North to attend many of our meetings and most of our events. He is very "Z-Active" each year and has Z contacts across the country. He is a good man to know if you have Z questions. If you haven't met him yet, make it a point to introduce yrslf to him at one of the meetings or events. |

Hi Bill! I'm one of the new joins Frank mentioned. A driver improvement course on a track sound like a good time to me. It's too soon to tell if I can make it though. Jay |

I'd be willing to travel up 185 miles for some education as long as there's no conflict with any other Z commitments. Any idea of date, month, Saturday or Sunday? Howard J. |
