Thanks Frank. I didn't take home any ribbons but my Z got plenty of attention. They are well loved cars.

The weather held out and the show was quite fun, add it always is. I'm always amazed by the turnout both in number and variety of vehicles.

I'm sorry you are currently Z-less but your Z will be in to shape I'm sure when Vinni is done with her. I'm going to have mine there at some point this summer as well.

I guess we're depending on you to send us some pictures of the event. So many of us started out intending to go there and one by one we all fell by the wayside, but we each had fantasies in our brain-housing-groups about what kind of cars would be there. I was hoping for some early Maserati (plural).

I spoke with Vinny today and he read me off a list of problems he found and corrected which I had not suspected, but which made perfect sense given my list of performance complaints. Car should be ready by next weekend unless something else falls off it before then.

I'm glad to hear Vinni will have your Z tip top soon. Thats terrific!

The show was really fun as usual, and the weather held out too. In fact it was sunny for the majority of the day. I did not take any pictures though, not even of my Z. I'm terrible about that. My wife and kids were there for some of the day though, my oldest (6) was telling everyone who'd listen "Hi that's my dad's car!"

There were three other Z's there. A 240z that had been repainted recently in charcoal gray. A 280z that had an ls swap, it's not my taste but has been built to a high standard.... Very meticulous. Also there was an early n/a 300zx with 49k on the clock, completely stock. Apparently that one lives just up the road from me.

No Maserati's, I would have liked that. There was a Lamborghini, some BMW M cars, a Mercedes AMG I forgot the model though, many mustangs, Chevelle's and such, Cobra jet Torino, old Cadillacs, a hot rodded hearse, 8 model T's, old pickups, several first generation Rx7s, some air cooled vws, a gorgeous pair of 63 split window sting Ray's, some chopped Mercs.... You get the idea.

I think attendance was down too, the forecast kept some people home. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures.

I think you'd like it, it's like group therapy for car nuts.
