Jay, the ZCCRochester has just announced their participation in this year's Carlisle event 18-21May. You might buzz on over there and read their plans, since they will probably pass thru Scranton enroute to Carlisle. You might join up with them and cruise down together. They are a great bunch and very active during the driving Zeason. They throw great events and parties and we will zee you in Rochester this July, good lord willing and the creeks don't rise.

I just found the Pre-registration form for the Fathers Day car show on the sponsoring car clubs website. They ask you to mail in the form to them with a check for the discounted amount of only $10. That's a bargain and I'll be sending them my check this week. The deadline for mailing it in is June 9, 2017 or pay $15 at the gate on the day of show.

Here's the link if anyone else is interested: http://nebula.wsimg.com/40bcea1491df9ff ... oworigin=1

The name of the sponsoring club: The Villa Capri Car Cruisers Car Club Inc.

I'm looking forward to the trip. Zee yah. :D 8)

There's a chance I may have to bail on this one due to a conflict. Will advise when closer to date. :(

I'm sorry to hear that guys, I completely understand though. I'm going to miss a few events this year unfortunately too. We will catch up with each other sooner or later.

Jay- Is one of the events that you'll be missing Fathers Day?

No Howard, that one's been a yearly event of mine for about ten years now. My wife schedules around it so there's never a conflict. Also it is super close for me so that one is easy.

Also we are planning to make the Rochester Z show too, so that should be fun.

Those are the only two definite ones for us. My kids are young and many weekends are already booked for us with birthday parties, day trips, and what have you. I'm hoping that at some point this summer I can take a ride to Connecticut and meet up with some of the club too. I'm looking forward to that.

Well, this is becoming harder and harder to justify. My Z has a laundry list of issues which I had hoped to have resolved by now, but I can't do them myself and Vinny hasn't had enough time or space to work on my car. I wouldn't feel confident driving it on a 6hr round-trip until it gets fixed.
I will call and cancel my motel reservation. Maybe next year....

Jay- I have a prepaid preregistration receipt/admission card from Villa Capri Cruisers for the June 18, 2017 show. If you know of anyone who could use it, just PM me with an address and I'll put it in the mail. If not,it's still fine, since the money goes to a good cause. I hope our paths cross in the near future. Have a great father'Z day.

Thank you Howard, that's really nice of you. I'll see if I can find someone to use it. I will pm you an address if I find someone who can.

I'm going to keep an eye on this events section, there should be something I can make. Right now Rochester looks like a strong possibility. I'd like to meet up with you, Frank, and some other members of the CTZCC gang.

Happy Father's day to you too.

Jay

I guess I made the right call on this ~ my Z is still in intensive care at the Bedini Genie's emergency room. There is a small chance I might cruise down there in the family coach for an afternoon and then home again, but that's undecided at this time. I'll look you up if I actually get there, Jay ~ and thanks for the invitation to this event, no matter what happens.
Hope you take home a Blue Ribbon and your beautiful 260 gets lots of attention and compliments.
Frank
