On Sat/18Jun16 from 0930 to 1500, a triple car show will be presented at the Klingberg Family Center, 370 Linwood St, New Britain CT 06052. Special host and Grand Marshal will be Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars/F40 Motorsports and his daughter, Lindsay. This annual event helps fund the Klingberg programs for kids who are abused, traumatized, have family difficulties or behavioral health issues. They presently help more than 3,000 CT kids. The three events will be: 1. Concours d'Elegance of pre-WWII era and Brass era motorcars; 2. Concorso of exotic super cars; 3. Traditional Antique Car Show of the past 70 years of automotive history. This year there will be an additional display of vintage race cars. ONLY show cars are allowed on the campus; free spectator parking is about a mile away at the New Britain Bees stadium [230 John Carbonic Way, New Britain CT] with free shuttle bus service provided by DATTCO. Vans are available for wheelchair or walker patrons. No tobacco, no alcohol and no pets are allowed. General admission is $15, Seniors are $10 and kids under 12 are free. Proceeds go to help Klingberg continue their efforts to help kids.
