Well this was FUN! Perfect weather and a whole parking lot reserved just to us. PiZZa turned out to be FREE and everyone looked happy. Probably more than 60 people attended, but they wouldn't stand still long enough to be counted. We judged 28 Z cars and 4 more drove in after the judging was done. There were some grand cars there today and the winners can be justifiably proud of their accomplishments. Each winner received a trophy cup and free tickets either to Stafford Springs Raceway or to a wine & beverage event [their choice], compliments of Executive Nissan and Radio Oldies. Some faces we haven't seen in ages showed up and it was like a family reunion. We got to meet some new names and faces and they brought some rather spectacular new Z cars. The DJ was good and fun so we had happy music all thru the event.

Thanks to Dave S for creating this idea and making it happen almost single-handedly. Some members had demanding family obligations elsewhere and couldn't attend at the normal time, but it was joyful to zee them cruiZing in at the very end of the show, even tho they weren't eligible for judging.

There should be lots of pictures of this event, because everywhere I turned I saw someone aiming a camera at something.

Nicely done, everyone! Sorry I had to take off a bit early, had work calling my name at home. It was a pleasure cruising down, in the pack of 5 with Bob Clark, Paul, Tim, and Branden. See you all soon! Great meeting you Taylor and Rob!

This was my first event attended and couldn't be better! Thanks for all the warm hospitality all! The cars were great, people and weather was great also. Couldn't ask for better weather today! Being my first event I tried my best to walk around and talk to everyone and they were all eager to jump into conversation about their Z so the event really flew by quick. It was great to meet a lot of the names I have been seeing on the Forums for the past couple months. :thumbs_up: Thanks for putting this event together!

Also my future Ex Wife was handing out trophies so it was a win win!!! :lol:

Thanks to everyone that attended the event yesterday, the weather was great. We had over 30 Z's participate in our first Z Palooza. Thanks to Scott Orsini, Rick Marino, and Jill (for judging)of Executive Nissan. The winners of the Dealers Choice Awards were: John Kish 1971 240Z, Gary Tylinski 1991 300ZX TT and Tom Pomatico 2009 370Z. All three Z cars are stunning.
