Post subject:  Opportunity to Showcase Your Z

We would like to pass along a rare opportunity to share a little Z history and meet some of our fellow Z lovers from France.
The club was recently contacted by Mr. Alain Le Meur, who is in charge of public relations for Nissan of France. He and a film crew for the French auto show Direct Auto will be attending the New York Auto show next week.

In addition to test-driving current Nissan models and visiting the Nissan booth at the show, the film crew is looking to create a historical report.
“Direct Auto always includes deep-diving in car history by reporting on vintage enthusiasts clubs or restoration specialists for instance.
As Z series are and have been very popular in the U.S. for decades, we are looking for several vintage Z owners, part of a Z club, in order to meet them and their cars for a report in the TV show.

The idea would be to film the cars and their owners, in static display as well as on the road; a workshop or club-house if any…
Overall necessary time for this footage is four hours.

We are asking if the Connecticut Z Car Club could make us this favor and support us with some of your cars and members?
The crew will be there the week of March 21-26, attending the motor show & test-driving cars on 22-23-24th.”

If any club member is interested in partaking in this rare opportunity, please PM or email me and I will gladly pass the contact information along.
Sorry for the short notice.

Sorry I just got this... :? ...I think they're already here.
They should be steered toward OUR MEMBER in Germany, Thorsten Link. He's famous throughout Europe as a TV commentator about classic cars, and he owns one of the very best award-winning early 240Zs in all of Germany. He got the car through us and our member Carl Beck, and it wears the CTZCC decals! Thor would probably love to discuss his car with them.
