Not sure how this happens, but this event gets better with every passing year! Let's make the 10th CTZCC Fall Outing another one to remember! See you all there tomorrow!

I'd like to thank you, Ross, in advance for the great time we're all going to have tomorrow. Thanks for doing this year after year and for putting this club together and helping to keep it going strong.

Thank you Jim for these kind words. I've gotten so much from the Z community that the Fall Outing is truly a labor of love.

The picture below is only about half of the goodies we will be raffling off tomorrow to anyone that shows up with a Z, 510, Roadster or GT-R! There will be lots of CTZCC clothing and merchandise included as well.

Wouldn't you love to have been around when Bob Sharp cleaned out his garage? Well I was, and that is good news for you because many of the things on the raffle table were donated personally by Bob instead of being thrown out or sold.

Also saved from the trash bin were the posters below, which will be in the free swap area for anyone to take. We appreciate if you would limit it to one per person.

See you tomorrow!

Hey guys, I'm going to be a little late. I had to track down an exhaust clamp this morning and I gotta try to tighten a water pump bolt. the internet lied about the availability of the clamp at various stores so I've been running around all morning.
See you guys there!

Happy 10th Anniversary, CTZCC. What an excellent day to celebrate, and what a great turnout we had this year! Got to zee some folks we have missed for a year and met some new faces, too. Thanks to all the guyz and girlz who brought those beautiful cars from RI, MA, ME, NY and NJ this year! Our family get together is a happier experience because we get to meet you and zee your Zs.
Thanks to Bob Sharp for making this year special, talking with everyone as if they were his backyard neighbor, autographing car parts, clothing items and showing a genuine interest in people's cars.
Thanks to Ross Williams for graciously inviting all 73 of us to park on his lawn and invade his privacy.
Thanks to PreZident Phil Parent and Jimmy Hagani and Keith Hultmark and all the other officers and volunteers who put this whole shebang together and made it run; if you guyz did anything wrong, it didn't show from the Peanut Gallery.
And thanks [with flowers and affection] to Brenda Williams, who once again played Z-Mom to all of us by hosting us, cooking for us, opening her yards and driveway and trampoline and home facilities for us, and tolerating 6 hrs of our laughter and loud music. The two family dogs could walk away when they'd had enough of our noise and confusion; Brenda had to stand there and smile through it all, and keep serving hotdogs.
Thanks also to whomever had the idea for the music; that was a welcome addition this year, even tho we saw some of the nearby neighbors moving out.
I tried counting the cars several times, coming up with different counts each time (cars kept coming in, right up until 20 minutes before we all left). I guess the best way to tell how many Zs there were is to count the license plate cards we used for the raffle table, then add 11 more non-Z cars which parked outside the wall.
One of the highlights of my day was zeeing Laura Link again, after the lengthy ordeal she endured, trying to get her passport renewed and visa approved in time to return to the USA for college this semester. She arrived a little late but has caught up with the class and is doing very well. She met Bob Sharp and got some pictures to show her dad (Thor) back home in Germany. He couldn't be with us for this event, but he's certain to join us someday.
Truly a great day to drive the Z and blast the pipes thru the CT backroad wilderness.

Sad that the occasion marks the end of our Zeason, but we still have the rescue gathering at Rick's to look fwd to in Nov.

Frank T
