I'm looking forward to seeing everyone today at Executive Nissan - it's going to be a great day and a great show!

Lots and lots of gorgeous Z's, awesome people, ideal "fall" weather, dozens of trophies, incredible food, raffles, fun, and much more. What a great way to spend the day with your Z, your family and us - all at the same time!

See you in a few hours,

- Jim

Getting ready to head out soon!
BUT ...Can't help but wonder if we'll have trouble finding our way there or seeing our Z's once assembled in this Pea Soup FOG.
And to top that off we'll be gathered nearby that Township known for SO MUCH of it that it boasts that fact with personalized signs on I-91.... FOGAREA!

So after all the detailing and preps, guess we'll need to be sure to bring our chamois and towels!

 We're really sad to have to miss both events today.
It's been very hectic this year and we have done virtually nothing but
schedule doctors visits and home improvement projects. I think we
took the Z out 4 times for short trips to the country farmers markets.

Anyway, we were hoping to at least get to Big Bill's as we have not been
able to visit there as yet but, alas, too many things to do in prep. for
Mond., Tues. when we're having new counter tops etc. installed in the
kitchen and bath along with new plumbing fixtures and having Frontier
install Uverse. We need to clean out undersink cabinets and linen closets
etc. along with a bunch of other things. + yesterday I had both bodily apertures
explored with thurs. being prep. day.

We miss you all and hope to get back on stream soon.
Jack & Carol

Nice job club officers! Impressive trophys. Congrats on a big first Frank! Love the new engine Rich. Keith, Scott, Ross, Robin, Jim -- nice to see you again, glad the club is still going strong. And congrats to the rest of today's winners. All are well deserved!

I'm so glad I was able to make it out today. Since reinstalling the engine with fresh turbos (and many, many other things) my car has gone over 1,300 miles with minimal problems. Hopefully this will enable me to make more meets and contribute more on the forums.

Looking forward to today's pics, Phil -- I especially love seeing your Z. I choose not to zee the rust. Lol!

Taylor

Kudos to all those involved who made this Another Great Event for sure!
It was a slow starter (maybe some got lost in the fog? ) ... but numerous fashionably late arrivals helped fill empty spaces with more eye candy in the end.
And Gourmet Chef Jim (along with his young apprentice/employees) did a fabulous job filling our growling bellies  ... plus follow-up deserts & fruit in the end.
And Ross was so thoughtful on making well timed arrangement for a light sprinkle :o just to help us all get the dust off our toys for our rides home. Good thing most knew enough to bring a chamois.

Congrats to Frank for an overdue recognition off his very special prized (re) possession :D . (if you don't know why that is... just ask him - if you have an hour or so to spare  ) Though he may not have had a shelf trophy for all these years... he's been driving IN HIS THROPHY all along! That's Much Gooder!

PS
And for those who missed out (skipped) on Big Al's invite for a post show It's Still Summer Group Hug... YOU REALLY MISSED OUT!

Good Sunday morning all,

Most important...A very large thank you to Scott Orsini and the staff at Executive Nissan in North Haven, CT for allowing the CTZCC to hold it's 6th Annual Z Car Show at their wonderful facility. And a successful show it was! The success is due to all the Z Car drivers who entered or attended just for the fun of it, and of course to the efforts of CTZCC Officers and Members who went the extra yard.

This was my first CTZCC Car Show as Club Photographer. I hope you all enjoy the attached slide show.

You have always made the membership feel welcomed and have graciously opened your facility to us. We look forward to working with you again next year in hosting this fine event!!

Thank you!
