Our June 2015 meeting brings us back to Grossman Nissan in Old Saybrook, CT. Linda Grossman and Bill Rideout have agreed to host us for a 5th time.

This dealership is a great friendly place to meet and catch up with each other. For this meeting we have not scheduled a presentation. Feel free to arrive early, we'll hang out by the Z's a little longer, then head inside for some Pizza and beverages. We will go over the schedule of events for the rest of the season and open the floor to any Z club related discussions or questions, etc.

295 Middlesex Turnpike
Old Saybrook, CT 06475
830-388-3434

WHEN:
Wednesday, June 10th

I was looking forward to it. No joy, however.
Torn ligaments in left knee.

Poor Zelda won't get any exercise for a while.

Have fun guys.

Thank You goes to Grossman Nissan for hosting and feeding us on a beautiful evening. Bill Rideout and Jim Narducci were gracious hosts. Linda Grossman has a prior commitment, but was there in spirit.

Thank again to all those that came out, especially our first timers. It made for a great turn out.

A special Thanks to Karl Walton for donating the new larger window stickers for sale to help fund club activities. Pictured below these are available for $3 or 2 for $5. They were a big hit.

This was a fun casual meeting where spent more time chatting and hanging out.

See you next month.

A note of thanks to Grossman Nissan for their generosity and hospitality. I'm sure a good time was had by all attending the June meeting of the Connecticut Z Car Club. It was great to see so many new members and their Zs.
Attached are photos of the event. Enjoy!

Indeed a fine time. Great zeeing folks/carsz again!
Thankz to Grossman Nissan for hosting us, they wouldn't even let us help clean up ,rearrange furniture or anything! To top that, they also offer a 10% partz discount to CTZCC.
Seems to be the year of the s30 headlight curse, however. The May event ended w/ me giving Surfer D a lift home after his headlights went out. This time Paul Mackin was the victim, but we managed to follow each other for the 38 mile trip back to Big Alz Bar n Grill where he spent the nite after we indulged in some nerve-calming adult restoratives. Paul thinks he figured out the problem, but I'll let him explain at a future date.
Going to miss the July meet tho, as am attending ZCON along w/ Bill Moreau and Gary Tylinski. Hopefully the headlight godz will lighten up (lighten up,get it? I kill me) and will not strike again. Perhapz some sort of sacrifice iz in order?

Zee Ya!
Al

Nice work on the pics,Al D!

Awesome meeting...everything was so perfect! Huge thanks to Linda and the Grossman team, Keith for organizing, Alan for the amazing photos, and everyone else for coming out on a wonderful evening!

July is a busy month - not only a monthly meeting (July 8th) at County Line in Middlebury, but we'll also have our Bob Sharp Lime Rock Day (July 11th) - what a great week that is going to be...

See you there,

Jim

It was a great time, weather was just right and a big thanks to Grossman for doing this for us. Nice seeing everyone and there awesome Z cars. I had an interesting ride home with no lights.....well followed Al to his place, and mostly I'd stay behind someone, preferably a tractor trailer and he would follow, then he lead when I need to see. It turned out to be the adapter plug for the ZX conversion. All corroded.
