Has this club ever had a track day or even auto x day ? I'm looking to get on some time on the track, I know the Porsche club is always at limerock. I think it would be fun and exciting to have a go around the track

We looked into a track day a afew years back, the reality is, it too expensive for the level of participation we would have. The NYZCC will post track days once I. A while that you can join in a while. I an believe many of the Tracks have open track days that you can pay and sign up for complete with instructors for the newbies

As far as auto cross. You can participate with these clubs.

Our Justin Tang will post some auto cross schedules as he learns of them.

Try http://www.scda1.com - I've heard good things. FYI - NYZCC partners with PCA Hudson Valley Region. Also the LRP website has listed track events, as well as autocross events at their infield track. Granted the autocross days are not cheap, you get a ton of seat time and don't have to run around chasing cones. 8)

Track Days:

I also recently heard about SCCA's new track nights. I think it may be half of what you would pay for a track day at LRP. Seems like a great deal if you can get to Thompson or NJ: http://www.tracknightinamerica.com/
