Hi Thor, Rick here.
Kathy and I are going to try to make it this year. The two issues we are dealing with are:
(1) Kathy's condition and her ability to travel that distance; and (2) trying to see if we
can dovetail the Memphis event with the Rochester Z Club event on the way home. It
would be nice to see the friends we made at the Nashville ZCon once again, and to make
some new friends as well. Isn't that one of the biggest benefits of being a Z owner?

Alan,

If I was retired and had more free time I would absolutely go. The event in NH was awesome and I regret not taking the car to the track.

Just go easy on the desserts this time.

Bill Moreau and I are Caravanning REAL EARLY Sunday.
We plan to meet somewhere in western CT at a mall exit (Southbury perhaps) right off Rt 84.
Plan to drive the bulk of it on Sunday and hope to cover enough distance to stay over in Eastern TN leaving shorter ride on Monday.

We're open to making it a larger grouping.

Hey - your distant member from Texas will be there, arriving Sunday evening with the Z in tow. Make sure you look me up and we'll get introduced all around. We'll be hanging out with the Z Club of Texas group at the Chili Fest on Tuesday evening if you haven't seen me earlier. Safe travels to all.

Ready to hit the road in the morning. PS - Carl Beck is attending the event, I'll finally get to meet him after many years of correspondence.

A Nissan pulling a Datsun.
How very appropriate.
They should love you when you get there with that rig.
BTW, resist the temptation to put the gearbox in gear. I've been caught doing that by certified and experienced Datsun mechanics and properly chewed-out. Always tow a 240Z in neutral. You can snap the crankshaft if you leave it in gear, according to the experts.

Thanks, Frank. Yep, gearbox in neutral, handbrake set, wheels lashed fore and aft. Ready to get underway, Captain!

In the absence of vehicle entries from CT, your distant member from Texas managed to uphold the honor of CTZCC and ZCoT by grabbing a few honors. Here's my lovely wife and I with some of the swag we brought back. It was great to meet Al, Gary, and Bill at the closing dinner. I missed Al during the Beale St. show but he yelled at me just as we were pulling out after the judging was over. I'm already working on her for Toronto so you guys need to make a good showing for proper meet-up.
