The Z Car Club of Rochester's annual charity auto enthusiast weekend will be July 18 & 19, 2015!

We've moved the event to an exciting new location, the DAMASCUS CENTER, 979 Bay Road
Webster, NY 14580. It is BIGGER, NICER, SCENIC and with much more amenities than before. You can check it out here: http://www.rochestercruisenight.com/

Here is the schedule of events:

Saturday July 18:
* A morning road rally through the NYS Finger Lakes region departs the Damascus Center for a destination of Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen NY ( www.theglen.com ). At the Glen you will take three laps around the historic race course in YOUR car! Time for shopping and lunch in Watkins Glen Village after.
* A late afternoon & evening CAR MEET / BBQ PICNIC at the Damascus Center. Food, drink, music, raffle and auction for our guests. And of course, AWESOME rides!
Sunday July 19:
* The Jonathan Krenzer Memorial Car & Motorcycle Show at the Damascus Center. Hundreds of rides of all types on display, multi-class awards (special classes for Z-Cars), food, music, raffles, prizes.

As always, proceeds will benefit a worthwhile local charity. This conflicts with ZCON so I assume there weren't suitable date options available.

Actually Gary, WE had these dates established, our usual weekend in July. ZCON was supposed to be in August but ZCCA changed the dates for their event due to scheduling.

Watkins Glen is undergoing repaving beginning right after our event, so dates were few. They were able to accommodate us on our usual July weekend. Most MOTORFEST participants really look forward to being able to put their cars on the historic WGI road course.

Keep in mind that ZCON runs during the week before MOTORFEST. With proper planning, one could do BOTH.

And not everyone will be taking the long drive to Memphis. We're a lot closer!

Totally understandable and I did not mean to suggest an error. I realize ZCON dates is not typical. But attending both will not be possible since ZCONN ends on 18 so won't be heading back (from Nashville) to N/E till 19'th. Oh Well.

I just heard they screwed up the Track in the remaking and some spots sagged and there are huge cracks and Now it's Going to be another year or two before they Finish.

Paul, if you're referring to Watkins Glen, not true. I spoke to their PR guy this week and he tells me that the track is fully operational. On August 1, they will close to begin repaving, then good to go for next year.

The MOTORFEST participants are all set to take to the track on July 18!

Is the Damascus Center the Hotel we would stay in? All I see is a Masonic Lodge.

The Damascus Center is the event grounds. We've blocked a group of rooms at the nearby HAMPTON INN. Here is a link with the details and to make a reservation:
