I'll be there as close to 8am as possible (although without a Z)...looking forward to seeing everyone one more time before the long winter break. Thanks again, Paul and Connor, for hosting this!

GeZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Jim:

Once you have settled with details at your new crib, I'll take a ride there to evaluate your garage.
We'll figure out your best lift options  and once installed  , you can get a "Driver Z" :o so you can attend club functions with proper set of wheels :D and no excuses of weather or storage stuff.

I'm shooting for ~ 8 myself so will Z U there

Paul,
Thanks for hosting the "coffee and" fun run this morning. It's always great to get together with a few CTZCC friends and to meet new members.
Safe winter, all. Zee ya when the snow melts.

Thanks Messrs. Jensen for giving us a terrific Fall morning together. It was really fun just hanging out over a cup of coffee (or tea, in my case) and breakfast treats - it just doesn't get any more relaxed than that!

It would be great if we could find a way to get together like this throughout the winter...anybody up for hosting something simple some Sunday morning in December or January? The beauty is: as the host, you get to choose the date, the time, the place and the menu that works best for YOU.

Jim,
I think that's a great idea. We could certainly enjoy each other's company sans Z's. I am thinking a location like the Town Line Diner in Rocky Hill. It would have to be a large enough venue to accommodate whom ever shows up and doesn't require a reservation. Most MickeyD's would have no trouble seating a moderate group, and we could call it an egg mcMuffin and coffee run. Better halfs, kids, would all be welcome. I will think on it!

This is a delayed THANK YOU to the Jensen's for hosting another great one with Great Java- AND.

Al's Diner idea sounds like a good one. (Even though us seniors  can get a Free Java at MickyD's.)

PS
Jim's idea is a good. However, I wonder if now (mid/late Nov) through Dec & at least early January are difficult for many ... primarily due to the assorted Holidays?
With that said, something more simple to organize like just a gathering at a commercial establishment on an established date & time as Al suggests  just might make it more simple and doable? :?:

Connecticut being a rectangle with a tail makes it impossible to find anything close to exact center. Rocky Hill is close to center and is accessible via most major highways. When all the holidays are past, I will start looking for a date. Could be breakfast or lunch.

GT: Free coffee at MickeyD's? We had that months ago. Locally a small(12oz) senior coffee goes for $.76 tax included. It pays to have a penny in your jeans. Refills are still on the house.

Stay tuned!

Alan

Sounds like a plan on a great idea.
Looking forward to it... as well as it also means the hectic Holiday Dust has settled.

Note:
Most, though not all  McD's do offer (totally  ) free (regardless of size) senior  coffee.
