Although the official start time for the event is 11am, I (and several others) are aiming to arrive between 10 and 10:30.

That way if there is traffic/construction, we will still make it by 11 and if it's a clear shot up, then we'll hang out, check out the cars by the track, bask in the sun, etc...all in all, no shortage of things to do on a beautiful day at Lime Rock.

I posted yesterday but did not seem to get on,

We'll be leaving Tolland at 9 which should get us to
farmington Starbuck's 930-945. No need to stay but for
maybe a pit stop so should be no problem leaving there
between 940 to 945 or so.
Jack

Hey Hey,
Near as I can figure there are two Z's (Penny Rusnak and I) cruising through the MickeyD's at Southbury. We should arrive at 0900hrs with plan to depart at 0930hrs. If anyone else plans to join in please post. The route is a bit out of the way but very nice through small towns like Roxbury and nicely shaded roads. See all at Lime Rock Park.

Tomorrow is the big day and we could not have hoped for things to fall into place any better!

It's going to be mostly sunny with temps around 80, we're expecting a huge turnout of members with their friends and family, we'll have Bob Sharp all to ourselves, Ross has put the final touches on his Bob Sharp trivia contest and has awesome prizes for the winner, we've got a mountain of food to serve and even though it is going to be a very busy day of racing, we're optimistic that Bob will be able to pull some strings to get us a few parade laps on the track.

Our event runs from 11am to 2pm, but there will be lots going on all day at Lime Rock, so bring a chair or a blanket, come early and stay late and enjoy the entire day at the track.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

- Jim

Thanks for the update Jim and for all of the advance preparation of food! Robin Foote and I will be driving his two 240Z's and meeting up with Paul Mackin in Jamestown, RI. We are then headed to Big Al's so there will be at least four Z's in our caravan.

Can't wait to see everyone!

Better late than never...it looks like the planets have aligned, and I will be able to join in the fun. Big decision to make...take the turbo 280Z with its new top end, or the 240Z? Ughhh. :?:
