One of the challenges that our leaders face when coordinating meetings is to provide content that is relevant, fun and interesting. Sometimes they are able to get outside parties to make presentations on specific topics. But with so many members in the surrounding area that are involved in so many interesting activities and projects we would like to give you the floor!

Why you should volunteer to present at a meeting?
* You'll be helping our club leaders - giving them one less thing to think about and arrange!
* You'll be polishing your presentation skills in front of a friendly audience.
* Our members are sincerely interested in what others are doing and learning tips, tricks and techniques.
* You will tighten your connection and friendships with others in the club.
* It is a fun way to share your interests with like-minded people.
* It will keep our meetings interesting and something to always look forward to.

So, if you are racing, building scale models, undertaking a restoration, researching the history of Datsun, spray-painting the letter Z on neighboring homes or anything else Z-related, please consider being a presenter!

To do so, just speak to one of the club officers.

Ross

I would like to present {{{looks around}}} darn where'd he go. :? Well maybe presentation on parts. Vintage parts ID, parts swapping, where to buy what, and so on. As long as it's informal and people learn something new. This would incorporate a parts give away of course.

Come on now, guys AND DOLLS, every Z Car has its story:

***How did you come to be interested in Z Cars in the first place? What
other cars did you consider before arriving at your decision?
***How long have you owned your Z, and how long did you have to save
up your spare change to be able to afford one?
***What have you done (or are you doing) to your car to improve it over
the (years)(months)? Or, what plans do you have for it?
***If you don't currently own a Z, what are you doing in the meantime which
would help you decide to buy one?
***Did you own a Z at some point in time over the past 44 years, and if so,
what happened to it, or to you, that you don't have it anymore?
***Be creative (YOU fill in the rest..........)

If your presentation doesn't fill a one-hour block, estimate how much time it
will take and the Club officers can book two or three presentations for the
same meeting.

If you are bashful about speaking before a group, not to worry. How many
times have you heard a speaker booed or hissed, or had rotten tomatoes
thrown at him/her, at any of our meetings? (Other than Frank, that is.....)

All right, all right, I give up. As introduced at the top, each of my cars has its
story. Put me down for one car at a time, unless you want to stay till midnight.

Hey Ross & All,

I can do another presentation on the build up of my 240Z vintage racer that just hit the track last year. Those with sharp memories (no pun intended) may remember me giving a similar talk to CTZCC back in 2009. That one was more of a surface-scratcher made during the beginning phases of this very long-running project.

I think I could give an entire talk just trying to explain why the thing took so darned long to finish. Embarrassing!

Only probably is I'll be traveling during next weeks' meeting. But keep me on the radar and if there is interest in a future meeting, I wouldn't mind babbling on about how not to build a vintage racer...

Tim

Might be able to do a small tips and tricks for car photography. I'm no pro, but everyone always wants better shots of their car!
