The Z Car Club of Rochester is pleased to present MOTOR FEST 2014 three fun filled days of activities for the automotive enthusiast. Plan to join us the weekend of July 18-20, 2014!

This year, we are pleased to have the R.I.T. Inn & Conference Center as our host hotel for the event. The RIT I&CC is conveniently located near NYS Thruway exit 46 and Interstate 390 just south of Rochester NY. A special room rate of $109 per night is available to our guests upon request. Our Schedule:

We just got word from the hotel that the special rate rooms in our block are going fast, only a handful left. We are not sure if we can secure additional rooms at the special rate, so I'd encourage you to make a reservation NOW if you are interested in attending Motor Fest!

It's gonna be GREAT. :D

Only a very few rooms left to be had at the host hotel! There are other hotels in the area, but if you're interested in staying at the center of the action, I'd suggest making a reservation now!

Kickoff party, road rally, laps at Watkins Glen, banquet, auction, historic racing movie, live concert, awesome car show.

Whadaryawaitinfor????? :D

Was there a number of rooms in the hotel set aside for this event?

Yes, two dozen rooms were reserved for the event. As of last week, only a couple were left.

If anyone strikes out, let me know and I can post a list of other nearby hotels.

Oh MANNNN..... NOW what am I gonna do?

We just announced our annual Bob Sharp Day at Lime Rock Park for 19Jul, directly over this event! We get 4 hrs with Bob at LRP, with parade laps at noon. The whole thing only lasts from 10 to 2, but that's exactly when you guys will be zooming around WGI :x I really, really want to attend your great event, and make that beautiful drive btwn Rochester and Watkins Glen again, but I also don't want to miss our Club's annual Bob Sharp Day :?

Now I have to decide btwn the two.

Sorry Frank, but we settled the dates back in January! lol

The charity banquet is Saturday night, the car show is on Sunday. Why not do both? :D

'Cause I want to drive my new L28 engine around WGI.

Not enough time to go to you Friday nite, make it back here for Sat/LRP, then back to you again for Sunday's car show. And if I stay here and do LRP Saturday, I'll miss both the Friday nite party and the Saturday drive to (and around) WGI and back.
(Sigh). :?

I know how you feel Frank! ZCCR at the Glen's been on my event list since the start of the year, so that's my go to event. You'll have to make sure next years BSD at LRP is not in conflict with other events! I want to go too!!

Well, as much as I hate to miss Bob Sharp Day, I've made my reservation for this event instead. So much goes on during the Zeason that it's just not practical to expect some of it not to overlap. I look fwd to the trip to Rochester and to zeeing my friends there again.
BTW, the only rooms remaining now are single-bed units.

We are SO MUCH looking forward to spending the weekend with my friends from CTZCC! It's going to be a BLAST!

If any of you have trouble with reservations at the RIT Inn and Conference Center, email me and I'd be happy to suggest nearby alternatives.

Here's the link to the registration form for your reference:

I feel pretty honored to zee my little blue Z parked on the Glen Grid with Big Al's Li'l Red and Paul's white 240z in your advertiZement. That day was a great experience. Can we park the 3 Pineapple carz together again this year? I even have a "3 pineapple" T shirt now!
Also, is it OK to pay and register at the door when we get there?

For any of you guyz who have never attended a ZCCR MotorFest, this is something you simply don't want to miss. A lifetime experience which you'll talk about for decades to come. Those of you who have already been to one or more, already know what a great time this is. Friendly, safe, very well organiZed and LOADS of fun. Your face hurts from grinning at the end of each day.

Frank T
