What an evening!

Close to, if not actually, a recordbreaking turnout: I counted over 30 Z's and over 45 members - thank you everyone for coming out last night, with special thanks to Quinn Bannon, the Bannon family and the rest of the dedicated team at County Line Nissan for being such gracious hosts (again) and to our friend Thorsten Link for a very interesting and informative presentation!

It was wonderful spending time catching up with everyone after such a long, tiring winter. So many great Z's (many of which had their first drive of the spring last night) and so many warm and friendly people...that's what makes this club so special and so terrific.

Thank you everyone - I'm already looking forward to seeing everyone again in May!

- Jim

It was awesome!

I was stoked to be able to see this many people before I return to school for the summer semester!

I have uploaded the pictures to The Drive Facebook page. For those who don't know, The Drive is a Youtube channel that my friend and I co-host. We have a Facebook page to help spread our name.

You don't have to have a Facebook account, or sign up for anything, to be able to view the pictures. Just click the link and enjoy!

Lastly, I post the pictures with a watermark of mine. If you would like a picture without the watermark (for personal use), just comment here or let me know, I'd be happy to email it to you.

Until next time…

Great meeting, great cars, much fun. Fantastic to see you all again.
I had an interesting stay in the USA. Frank made it possible to visit the Malcom Pray collection. Thanks Frank!!! Went to Dallas to meet Mad Mike Taylor. Had a drive in his 240 Z at Dallas Texas Speedway. His wife Kate permitted me to check out her wonderful 2000 roadster etc., etc. Now I'm back to Germany and I'm quite sure to come round.

See you here.

Thor

I had a grand time with Thor this visit. He got to blast around CT in a new Mustang GT and stopped in at Manny Dragone's classic car restoration garage in B'port. He also got an exclusive 1-on-1 walk thru of the Malcolm Pray car collection at the CT/NY boarder, which contains some of the world's most interesting cars gathered in one display.
We also sought out some good German restaurants and companionship. I felt happy for Laura ~ she got to see her Daddy for a week and compare "USA-German" food.

Yes that was great!!
Hope you have a good meeting next week.
Unfortunately I cannot join. I'm in Fuerteventura currently for business.
If anyone plans a visit to Europe…
do not come to this island. It does not pay!

Thor
