Hi Gang, Rick here.
Y'all know how I would LOVE to make the San Diego gig.
Especially if we could do it hauling a trailer load of Z Car.

But Kathy had a 3rd stroke last summer, and anything and
everything we do has to be predicated on how she is doing
at that moment; and frankly, how I am doing at that time,
also. She might only be 5'1' and 126#, but she is a LOAD!

Another thing comes to mind: my truck is a quad cab, a
6-speed Cummins diesel. It would hold 4 comfortably, and
all our gear could be stashed in the bed or in the trailer.
Two drivers, or even 3 (I don't let Kathy drive anymore),
splitting expenses, would make the trip easier and more
economical for all concerned. Just thinkin' out loud......

:!: :!: Hotel is Booked :!: :!: darnit.....we just decided on a last fling we can do tis, just not rent no car and keep to the basics, but the hotel on the island is booked, and not into it if we can't stay on the island. So just to let you all know.....there are other hotels to stay in, but main one is booked. Good for the show :thumbs_up: but for us on the other hand, not so good :thumbs_down:

Thanks for letting us know Paul. Williams family is planning on making a week of it. Ross and Graham going to Z events while the girls go sightseeing. Too bad about the hotel. Now I wish I would have booked earlier!

We're in, I just registered for the event (Our club was not listed as participating in the drop down box). We ended up staying at the Best Western down the street and Barb is getting the airline tickets now. I'm hoping to be able to rent a 370 while we are there.

Just can't make the drive across the country.
