A great time tonight! 37 Zs and 510s attended, more than 45 members and guests showed up, and Alfanos treated us very well and invited us back any time. People came in off the street throughout the meeting, looking at the lines of CTZCC cars and taking pictures.
Bryan Little did a brief and fascinating (and funny!) slideshow presentation on his Z painting project, Bill Moreau gave us a recap of ZCon and all the impressive numbers who participated in each event (we got some laughs from that, too), PreZident Jimmy brought us up to speed on Club news and upcoming events, and PreZident Emeritus Ross Williams surpriZed us with his first attempt at an Apple Mac slideshow of ZCon photos. It turned out like a professional presentation set to "Horse With No Name" by "America". (We secretly suspect his son Graham actually set it all up and Ross just took the credit for it, but we politely kept quiet about that).
And there was PIZZA by the TON!!!! Alfanos made very sure none of us went hungry (almost made sure that none of us could walk!) and each box I opened had a different type pie in it. A piZZa for every taste! Cold soda for everybody.
After the meeting, everyone gravitated back out to the Zs and schmoozed together until long after the last Alfano employee had locked up and left. Everybody was busy with their cameras, so there's sure to be lots of pictures of this meeting posted here. I will try to put some of mine up tmrw after I've had some sleep.
Big thanks to Alfanos for hosting us! We had a great time in a spacious meeting room and they made us feel like we were home.

Frank T

Wow...what an awesome meeting!

First and foremost, a huge "THANK YOU" to David (Alfano), Alex (Rojas) and all the truly warm and friendly people at Alfano Nissan. It was truly our pleasure to get to meet all of you and to have been given such a royal treatment. We are already looking forward to next time!

"Thank you" also to Bryan (Little), Bill (Moreau) and Ross for informing and entertaining us and to everyone else for joining us last night.

- Jim

Thanks for a great meeting to all the guys that made this happen. The least I can say is Totally Z awesome. :D After starting my Z day at 10am, which was buying an R-200 in one town, looking at a ZX in another town, then looked at another ZX way up in Mass. only to end my day at this meeting. It was like the cherry on top of a banana split. Was glad to give away some parts, but of course I need to learn left from right, so sorry Brian, I knew I should of told Frank to bring the window just in case his was better, and he would of probably brought the right one, which is actually the Left one...............ummmmm, maybe that's were I messed up. btw Brian, I saw a front window molding on ebay this morning.

Excellent job as always, Phil.
Your eye for small detail brings personal interest into focus whenever you shoot a function.
Glad to zee so many members at this meeting, and so many NEW FACES!!! Club is growing almost faster than we can water it.

It was a great meeting and thank you to Bryan for a wonderful presentation and to Bill Moreau for a great ZCON recap. After seeing how easily Bryan's project came together and the basic level of skill involved, I think I am more than ever ready to never take on such a project! Can't wait to see it at the Fall Outing though.

And as always, fantastic pictures Phil!
