I am pleased to announce that our very own Quinn Bannon and the Bannon family at County Line Nissan in Middlebury will be hosting our July 10th club meeting!

Official meeting start time is 7pm, but feel free to come early and hang out in the lot starting at 6:30pm.

Come and spend some quality time with your fellow club members and their Z's! Quinn has told me that he and several others of the County Line team will be in attendance with their own Z's, so this is going to be a very special meeting.

County Line has graciously agreed to provide food and drinks.

County Line Nissan is located at:

2191 Straits Turnpike (Route 63)
Middlebury, CT 06762

That's right off Exit 17 of I-84 and very convenient to either Route 8 or Route 6.

County Line Nissan is a family owned and operated Nissan dealer with over 45 years of experience. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.countylineauto.com .

See you there!

- Jim

Great news Jim and thanks for getting our next meeting on the calendar, at a new venue no less! I'm excited to be visiting the County Line Nissan dealership and seeing our Z brothers and sisters again in a couple weeks.

Thanks Quinn! We really appreciate your support.

Thanks Quinn for hosting and Jim for adding another great meeting venue. I am looking forward to seeing Quinn's family dealership, County Line Nissan.

I've been chatting with a few Z guys I've recently met. They would like to see what the club is all about. Hopefully they'll be able to make it. I've already got confirmation from one. We will most likely be heading down 84 coming from the Hartford area. If anyone is interested in caravanning, let's make it happen :!:

Sorry guys but I will not be able to attend this meeting. I am leaving for vacation on the 13th and I have a huge list to do before I leave. Very disappointed because I was hoping to get some CTZCC merchandise for ZCON. Have fun guys and stay safe!

Middlebury is a perfect location near the center of the state. It allows me to avoid all highways enroute. A 30 minute drive using Rt 70, 68, 63 and I'm there. Looking forward,

It sure is...I stopped by the dealership today, spoke to Quinn and met his father, Bob Bannon, who is President of County Line.

They are terrific people, the dealership is lovely and the location is very convenient (just like their jingle says...).

We'll be gathering in the parking lot in front of the Service building and then going inside that building later on for our dinner and club meeting. If you are coming from I-84, the Service building is immediately before the showroom building.

The County Line team is very excited about hosting the club's meeting on Wednesday (July 10th). I'm certain this is going to be a very enjoyable evening. Our Motorsports co-Director Justin Tang will be making a brief presenation about autocrossing. As always, official start time is 7pm, but arrive early (6:30pm) if you can.

See you Wednesday,

Jim

Well, leave it to me to get left bedside. I can't swallow or walk and my fever is through the roof. Looks like Randy will be left in the garage for yet another meeting.

Current forecast for later today in our meeting area sounds pretty bad. :( That said, might it be post poned (or other) if so bad that very few (especially the older cars) will attend? I assume checking in on the board will provide updates as usual... however, when would a yeah or ney deadline occur realizing some have long drives to plan out in advance.

We are most definitely ON for tonight!

The forecast is spotty - hit or miss as to where and when, if at all, a storm may pop up.

Regardless, in all the years we've been having monthly meetings, I don't recall ever cancelling one due to weather. Even in the pouring rain, we meet...it's just that many of us leave our "rust-prone" older Z's at home. But that's OK, because many people come without Z's even on a sunny day!

So, rain or shine (or anything in between), I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at County Line!
