Club trophy for our fastest karter!

Great looking trophy, Ross...I already picked out a spot for it on my mantle...

In case anyone is still on the fence about whether to make the trip out for this meeting, here's yet another enticement:

I spoke with Scott Cole from RDZ today, who told me he and BOB SHARP will be attending our meeting! They'll be arriving at 6:30pm or so to give everyone extra time to chat with them and catch up on all the great stuff that they are involved in.

As everyone ought to know by now, Bob will be a featured guest at ZCON 2013, which is being held this year in Nashua, NH from August 5th through August 8th. Plus, RDZ is hosting a slew of other wonderful events every month this summer (see the UPCOMING EVENTS area of our forum for full details).

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting,

OK...This opens a whole can of worms! The unfair advantage goes to those who are a little bit slimmer! How about a light weight group and a chubby/portly/large group. Weight has an advantage in Karts, when Colin laps me I always blame it on his weight advantage!....OR drivers under 165lbs have to carry a PBR 30 pack between their legs! Then again old age and treachery might just get the job done. Hmmm...let me find a nice spot on the mantle for the first Annual CTZCC Karting Championship Trophy.

What is meant by lowest combined times? Things might difficult to judge if a yellow flag is thrown (all karts on track come to slow speed). Yellows usually thrown when a kart spins and needs help from a corner worker..... yellows are pretty common.

Well each driver will most likely complete 8 or 10 laps during the race. Since we will all be on the track at the same time I don't think yellows will significantly effect the results in terms of the order of drivers. Lap times and overall average times are recorded/calculated by computer.


The other answers is: this is a Z club not AMLS. We're just not gonna worry about it.

Thanks for looking out Quinn! It's true, the Z is undergoing some bay work, but I'll be caravaning with Adam perry in my moms corolla. Excited to finally make it to a meeting!
