Scott@RDZ informs me that on Saturday Liam and the RDZ crew will be at Lime Rock until at least 4pm. They'll be arriving at around 7am and the event starts at 9am.

During the day, Liam will be taking four multilap runs - he wants as much track and testing time as possible.

If you can't spend the whole day at LR, it is definitely worthwhile to come for even a portion of it - you'll still get to see plenty of action!

- Jim

Just found out the bus doesn't make it into Hartford until 9:30AM. I won't be able to make it with the caravan. I'll see what I can do about getting over there.

My new to me 2009 370Z is in my garage, insured and registered and ready to go. Do we have a Firm meeting spot a long the way? I'll be coming from Groton.

370Z photos coming soon.

Keith,
Coming from Meriden, I will take 691 to 84 to rt67 in Southbury. I suggested the shopping center at I84 exit 15 because it is convenient to a fun ride north via rt67 to rt202 or rt7. I plan to be leave home at 7:00 and be at Southbury for 7:30. I have to leave Lime Rock at 2:00pm. If you are coming from Groton, you have to cut the angle somewhere.
Nice looking 370Z! Happy trails.

Anyone else planning to join in...please post so you won't be left behind.

I'll aim for the shopping center at 7:30am. Don't wait up, if I fall behind I will find my way. See you Saturday!

Unfortunately, I have to back out of this. My cousins got me tickets to the NY Auto Show for Saturday.

I'll have to show off the 'vert another day

Ok I am ready. Thanks Alan for organizing a meeting spot right off of Exit 15 on I-84.

Just North of the Exit (Rte 6/67 North) is the Southbury Shopping Plaza. We'll meet at the McDonalds around 7:30 am. (LOOK FOR Z CARS)

GPS: McDonalds , 100 Main Street N, Southbury, CT

From there DEPART at 8am: following Alan in OURZ to LimeRock Park. For a nice 40-45 minute cruize.

If you get lost following, set your GPS to LIMEROCK PARK, 60 White Hollow Road, Lakeville, CT.

Does that sound about right Alan?

That looks great, Keith.
From Southbury we will travel on a winding rt67 to New Milford. From there, Route7 will bring us to Lime Rock Park.
Weather channel is predicting sunny weather, high 30's early, and mid 50's in the afternoon.
Anyone else planning on joining up...please call my cell 203-687-8053 early enough so we don't leave you behind. The more the merrier!!
Alan

:( I dearly wanted to attend this and see my buddy's reworked Z, but I am temporarily laid-up at home. :(

Somebody take videos, please?

Frank

Thanks, Jack. Pulled a thigh muscle; not very conducive to hiking around the hills of LRP. :(

Anybody back home from this yet? Any reports?

Frank

Al, Jim, Keith and myself made the ride out to LRP today to watch Liam and RDZ road test Liam's 350z. We left after two of the four scheduled runs, Everyone seemed pleased with how the Z was running. Liam does an amazing job at the wheel and I believe recorded a 59.8 second, sub-minute lap during the second outing. I should have some pictures up later this evening.

All in all, a great Z event!

Yep - perfect day: beautiful weather, exciting runs - the car and Liam looked awesome.

Congratulations Liam and RDZ on a great debut! I know it won't be long before I can say "I was there the day it all began!"
