Town Line Diner at exit 24, I 91 - 8:00 it is. A good start to the caravan with a good B'fast! I have a feeling we will need a police escort on of these years so let's get as many cars in this event as possible. Last year with eight cars we slowed the traffic down with everyone gawking, so the more the better to keep our highways safe!?!

Well, I don't think I have the time to spend all day on Z stuff, so I'm thinking I might just join you guys for breakfast at TL, and then go off on my own and visit the folks in Rocky Hill for a while.

Hopefully I'll Z-ya there :)

Last year I (and a few others) went extra early to help Ross w/ set up. He claims he's OK this year. If that doesn't change, I'll join in as well. To keep my tradition I'll be taking GodZilla and hopefuly Ross will save my space. We (Zilla and I) can lead like a few years back or just stay in the line-up. If I put a flashing light on roof I wonder if that would be as good as a police escort? and help us keep moving. Yes Zilla can certainly blaze a trail ahead to clear the way, but even he can out run a radio so we'll have to be respctfull of speeds (which traffic will probably limit anyway) and there ar always teh possible traffic Jams to slow us down.
I'd suggest the schedule of times shown for stops reflect Actual HARD DEPARTURE times so not to hold up the troops and we'll know when to give up on stragglers plus anyone who does arrive late will see no one there and know to just move ahead on their own and hopefullly catch up further down the pyke? Plus showing a depature time will let each of us all plan ahead for as much as we need to ensure arrival soon enough for any chats (or break or food etc) and be stagged to go on TIME... especially if some want to enjoy a group hug over breakfast. I'm tentatively planning on B fest at exit 24.
Do we need cell#'s for those people planing to parade down in case there are unforseeable break ups in teh line up or issues?

Trying to work out all the bugs of an 81 280zx with 36k that was just pulled out of storage after sitting for over 20 years. Registered it last week and so far so good! Unfortunately I'll need to replace the 1992 inspection sticker to be legal. As long as we don't run into issues we're trying to make it from Western Mass. Looks like lots of fun.

Two more Zs have been added to the caravan. Penny Rusnak will be at TLD in Rocky Hill and brother Doug will meet us at the Fairfield Rest Stop. If anyone plans to join in at North Haven or Orange rest stops..please chime in. It appears we have 11 Z's so far.
Weather forecast is good.
Again...The more the merrier!

Alan, if the schedule allows, I may stop in for breakfast and ride along until the first stop, then race on ahead to help with the setup...

Phil, don't see how you'll be able to "run on ahead" of this caravan, even
with stops if Zilla is leading the pack ............ not that this group would ever consider exceeding the 55 on 15.

I've also invited a friend who's a classic car restorer and lives in the area to stop by, unless he uses his Yankee tickets.. Fairfield county resident .. what would you expect.

With frost pending, may need to put the top on the roadster to get better half to come along. Have not driven with top on ... at speed. Could be interesting. Zee you for brkfst!
Jack

I'm going to try to make it (reworking my schedule now).
I'm in Cromwell so I'll either be in Rocky Hill by 9 or in Wallingford by 9:30.

I used to live in Darien so this will be fun!

Hope to see everyone there!
