7th Annual Fall CT Z Car Club Outing & BBQ!

Many people say this is their favorite event of the season due to the relaxed format. No need to wash, polish, wipe or wax - just show up hungry and preferably in your Z!

Date:
Saturday October 13th (rain date Sunday, October 14th)

Time:
11:00am – 4:00pm

Off-street parking (on level grass) for approximately 70 cars – overflow space for more cars if necessary.

Rear enclosed yard for children.

Spouses, friends and children are all welcome!

The club will provide: Food and Beverages

You can bring: Canvas lawn chairs, unwanted Z parts (in good condition) for free parts swap area.

Please no pets, drugs, alcohol, hot-rodding, etc. This location is a private residence in a quiet neighborhood.

I agree Alan. I think we'll start in Rocky Hill at the diner at exit 24 as per last year and repeat the caravan route. B'fast at 8:00 the day of the outing. We had a good turnout for this last year, let's blow the doors off this year. Gotta love seeing that many Z's on the Merritt!!! Interested? Let us know here.

The zcenic route would begin at the Town Line Diner, I91 Exit 24 and make pick- up stops along the Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways at BJ's parking lot at Exit 66, Rt5 in Wallingford, and the rest stops at
North Haven, Orange, and Fairfield. Hopefully traffic in Fairfield will co-operate this year. Times to TBA.
This is a great fun event. The more the merrier!

If you do make contact with Z's from the Hartford area, by all means hook up at the Town Line Diner at Rocky Hill for breakfast or BJ's in Wallingford. There's always room for more.

The Z caravan from the Hartford area (Town Line Diner in Rocky Hill) will have roughly the same schedule as last year.

Greg Emmons has planned to meet at the diner for breakfast @8:00am, leaving for BJ's in Wallingford around 9:00am.

...arrive BJ's parking lot, Rt15 exit 66 9:30am- leave 9:45am
...arrive Merritt Pkwy North Haven rest area 10:00am
...Orange rest area 10:10am
...Fairfield rest area 10:30am
...arrive Darien near 11:00am

Try to keep on time so we can arrive on time or at worst, fashionably late. All Zs are welcome to join in.

Please post where you will join up so we do not leave anyone behind.

Just spoke to a guy looking to sell his 300zx. He mentioned that he has owned 3 280s and that a few years back he picked up a 280z with 41k in Niagra Falls. Says its showroom quality. I recommended that he check out our amaZing website, and check out our end of the ZeaZon event. Hopefully he stops by!
