Wish I could have made it. Miss you guys! Glad you all had fun. I look forward to seeing you soon. Glad the plates came out so nice. Makes me feel good to help such a great guy's son.

Great pics Phil. Hope to join a meeting soon :D
In the meantime I will meet Mad Mike Taylor here in Stuttgart end of May. Of course I'll pick him up with my Z. We are going to visit the Daimler & Porsche headquarters. Much Fun. Mike will stay in one of the most exciting hotels :D www.v8hotel.de

HAHAAAA! That's GREAT! :D

A visit to the V8 Hotel would be worth a trip to Germany, itself!

Every teenaged kid in America would love to have his own bedroom look like that. I know I tried, when I was a kid ~ cleaned and polished engine parts "displayed" all over my room, racing posters on every wall (including huge mechanical drawings of the 1938 Mercedes W-196 Grand Prix car), and a bedspread which turned my cot into an MGTC. 8)

I'm surprised to see the V8 Hotel doesn't put Borrani wheels and Michelin racing tires on the bathtubs!

Mad Mike won't leave the hotel!

Thor, please take me a photo of the 1966 Daimler SP250 "Dart" when you get to the headquarters?
