Who's in for this show this year? So far I am in for this, see all the details at www.carlisefairgrounds.com (I think that's the addy, or just do a search.) It would be nice to see more Z's than all those other cars this year. :D

Paul above is the address: Which Show Dates are you thinking about? There seems to be a few choices.

It's the IMPORT & KIT CAR NATIONALS May 20-22. The White Rose Z Club of York, PA does a great job promoting Z attendance. Zs were there last year from NY, MA, CT, PA, OH, MD, ON and more. I think there were about 50 Zs. The actual Carlisle event has ALL import cars represented, the vast majority of which seem to be British and German. IMO, the Z-Cars put most of the other attendees to shame...

ZCCR will be there, we usually represent with 6-8 cars. I'd love to take my 240, but too long a drive without A/C and tons of comfortable power for these bones! It'll be the 350Z once again.

Or I can drive my 300ZX to MAKE DELIVERY SHOULD SOMEONE WANT TO BUY IT!

We usually book hotel rooms in nearby Harrisburg, let me know if anyone is interested in getting in with our group. We arrive Friday noon, leave Sunday morning.

I'm headed down to Carlisle May 13-15 for their Performance & Style Show.

I plan to meet up with a bunch of other car guys from in and around CT and Rhode Island, and we'll caravan down.

If anybody else is going that weekend, lemme know.

Thanks guys for the more explicit details. :D Last year I think I saw the most Z's there ever. (not that I go every year, but try.) There is usually one vendor there with all kinds of Z parts, so keep in mind to visit him, I think is name is Bill, but I have got some parts my self from him and learned a little as well. I've been going there since 19 and always a good show. The other shows as well are cool, like Isaac mentions, just too close together for me to attend both. I try to dedicate myself to this show every year. Last year the ctzcc fell short due to an unfortunate event, which also brings up memories for me for it was that time of the year it happened. So maybe we can pull together and bring his spirit there like a band of brothers we are. So when I go to order my spot I'd like to order that space for Colin as well. These are my personal thoughts, if any are in, would be nice, thanks. Other than that, I'm gearing up for the first biggest Z car show in our near by area. :D Can we do that club tent thing.....with the BBQ. :?:

My screen showed some kind of display that said I can't go there with
the Adobe/Acrobat whatever, I forgot the rest. Is there another way
to find the info, as Kathy and I would like to go if possible?
Thankz!-- ~Rick~

I won't be able to attend this event this year. Who is going to represent our club??? Last year it was me, Mike Tubiak, Paul Mackin, Gary Tylinkski, Paul Jensen and Sal Imperato.

We need a good CTZCC presence to display the club banner (if we had one).

ZCCR has 11 members joining in on the fun at Carlisle this year!

Look for the ZCCR pop-up tent and banner and stop by to say hello!

:D

I'm actully going to back down this time. 240 drive train isn't worth the long drive at the moment, but will have done before summer gets here, and I'll be at the rest of the shows. :D

With Kathy's condition following her latest stroke, we never seem to
know till the last minute whether we will be able to go to an event at
a distance. Locally, no problem, we just show up if we can.

So then, can somebody just "pop into" the Carlisle thing with his & her
Z in a trailer and say, "Hi, we're here!" and get in? (upon payment of
the entry fee, of course).

Please excuse the ignorance, we're still very new at this Z Car show
stuff, and in the case of Carlisle, we've never even been there before.

Hi Rick,
I don't know the answer to your question. You might try e-mailing Erik Kidwell. His address is above on the flyer. Good luck.

Yes Rick, you can "just show up" and join the party. Registration is $30 for the weekend, but most of the action happens on Saturday.

About 1200 cars of all import varieties on the acres of the Carlisle Fairgrounds. A good sized car corral and a huge vendors area and flea market (not too many Z parts though).

The "East Coast Z Nationals" is an independent event held within the Carlisle weekend, pretty much a gathering of Z-Cars at the "Asian" area of the show grounds.

Hotel rooms will be at a premium at this point, with the event less than a week away. I would suggest that you go to their website and look around to get a feel for accommodations and event information:

http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/import/

Look for the ZCCR tent, we'll be there Friday and Saturday.

:D
