SiZe always matters ( 8) ) and in this case, smaller is better. Liam needs stuff he can carry on patrol with him, in pockets or pack.

Jim and I both sent Liam packages recently. Jim's has arrived, mine has not. Mine was 12lbs so I suspect that delayed it. Whatever we gather at the meeting will be packaged in shoeboxes and sent to Liam quickly.

Thanks for anything you can bring!

Frank

less than a week away...long range forcast looks good so far.

I stopped by Grossman Nissan yesterday and they are looking forward to having us. Arrive as early as 6:30pm.

Just a heads up, the Old Saybrook Police Dept. love to catch speeders on all the roads that come off I-95 and Route 9, so mind your speeds in town. I think one member donated some funds to OSPD last year...or at least got a warning when coming to the meeting at the Marina.

See you in less than a week.

I can't wait!

I'll also bring a Donation Box for us to put items into for our member Liam Dwyer in Afghanistan. Old car magazines you no longer want are a hot item for Liam's squad.

Z y'all soon!
Frank

I have given my "Ultimate Detail" friend too much work a the marina getting boats ready for Spring Launch, so he will be unable to present at the meeting. So keep doing what you doing for Spring Detailing and we will try him again another time. He really has some great tips for misc detailing issues...and he is also available to do it for you.

Instead we have invited Rich Amatulli of RDZ Motorsports to give his presentation on the Z32. Rich offers an experienced view on the technology of the Z32 and the maintenance issues these 15 to 21 year old Z's face. Rich gave this presentation in 2009 at the Waterbury meeting and we thought it was interesting enough and important to revisit.

See you Wednesday.

Oh, this is great news! Rich made this presentation at our Waterbury meeting in 2009 and people wouldn't let him sit down ~ every Z32 owner had three questions for him.

Because there are more than 165 Z32s in this Club (making them the most-populous model among us), this subject would be a perennial favorite if we made time to present it each year. Several members missed Rich's first presentation in 2009, and regretted it ever since. We had no floor time to repeat this great presentation last year, and we've had several requests to hear it again. (Quick ~ somebody call Gary T and tell him not to miss this one!)

ALSO!!! ~ I Skyped Thor Link this weekend and he asked if we could Skype him from the Club Meeting this Wednesday, too? He really misses us and wants to zee us altogether again and exchange a few words. It would be 0400 his time, but he's willing to get up to say hello! We're checking with Grossman's to zee if they have the technical capability to let us do that.

Can't wait for this meeting!

Frank

Frank T,
I will have a trunkfull, or as much as I can get in my350Z.
I have many puzzle books from my mother in law. I have explicit instruction not to give them to anyone else.
Also toiletries, snacks, razors, powders, etc.

Do you need boxes? I have a few.

Well don't know if I'll be able to make it. I replaced my headlight switch with my old one and have no headlights. I'm gonna try to install that upgraded harness and see what happens. Plus I haven't heard from my coworker if she will switch shifts with me. Crossing my fingers.

 Very sorry to hear that. We were looking fwd to meeting you guyz in person, and letting you zee the carz.

Next time won't be as close to you because we move around the state, but maybe things will work out better.
Plz make it if you can, even if you have to drive a Ford (like I did for 10 meetings  ) or hitch a ride with another RI member?

Hope you can still salvage this!

Frank
