Hello CTZCC,

NYZCC would like to extend a track invite to you that is right in your backyard!

The Hudson Valley PCA group has invited us to join them at their April 7th track day at Lime Rock. The cost is a low $225 for the ENTIRE day. They will be running another track day there and Watkins Glen later in the year.

Please follow this link for all information and details:

http://nyzcc.com/forums/events/681

I think we will hit 10 drivers from our Z club....so don't miss out on a day you get to mix it up with the Porsche guys.

Here are a few pics from my track day with them last year: http://dcerutti.smugmug.com/Other/NYZCC ... 9625_MBenP

Hope to see you there as a driver or just to watch! :D

I don't know if I can get my Z ready by then... Thanks for the heads up though, Clive. Maybe I can make the later one.

Oh Boy,
This could be Good, I just finished with a stage 3 build on my
350 Z and would be Pretty cool to get out and test the power.
I'll also tell my partner Rich and maybe we'll have 2 RDZ cars there Maybe 3. I want to get down to the Dyno Here soon to see what were putting down for numbers.
I will be posting pictures with detail soon. :D
Thanks for the heads up Clive.

By the way, Scott, (a little off topic) would you guys be willing to help me dyno tune my 280z when its up and running again? The tuning shops around here are scarce, and I don't really know them or know if they have any experience at all with older Z's. Its running a Haltech engine management system, and I'm wondering if that's why NONE of the dynos around Eastern Mass will return my calls.

Hey Clive, any idea what the cost would be for a spectator?

Sure we can help get you straightened out,
Just give the shop a call when your ready and we'll talk about getting you in for some initial programing then we can get your car to our sister shop that has the dyno for the final regulating of the maps and to see what kind of numbers your putting down.
Also if needed we have a trailer to come and get your baby, call us and talk to Rich and he can go over all the pricing for you. 203 628 7725
You can check us out at RDZ300.com or our new site at RDZMOTORSPORTS.Net
were here for you bud.

Thanks a TON! :D

Big weight lifted off my back, and even better knowing that I'll be getting the tuning done by a club member instead of X tuning shop around here who I don't know.

Hopefully I won't need a trailer. The engine had a pretty decent tune on it when it was installed, so I don't *think* I'll need a trailer to get it down there at the moment. All I've changed with the setup really is helping it breathe better, bigger intercooler etc. The biggest change now is the .5mm overbore. Shouldn't be a problem breaking it in and driving lightly down to your shop.

Can't wait to see what kind of numbers it pushes too!

Im definitely interested. I should be reasonably caught up with tax season so I can blow a day. If the 71 is here in CT by then, I'll take it; if not I can always run the 96...or the Corvette! :)

Starting to sound like a Club Dyno Day.

Bryan, you should be monitoring this. Maybe you and Scott can talk off-screen and zee if it's pozzible to get a bunch of Zs Dyno'd at reazonable pricez on a weekend.......?

Just a thought.

Frank

$225 for a Track Day at LRP is dirt cheap. I haven't seen a price like this in ~10 years...back when I ran a couple of time trials there with c.a.r.t. I hope to make this one...but I would like to upgrade pads and get my temp to run a bit cooler before throwing #11137 around Big Bend (=

Cheers,
Colin
