Well, I wasn't able to make the last couple of Z-events, but the weather is still good and I'm dying to get out and drive my Z! I'm free tomorrow (Saturday) morning, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me for a cup of coffee. I'm in Southington and I'd prefer to keep it somewhere near 'home' (central part of the state - I've got a b-day party to go to in the afternoon and can't be driving across CT).

Anyone want to fire up their Z's and join me for a cup o' joe? 40 degrees and sunny is good enough for me :D

I drove my Z around shopping, maybe 10 miles total. I'm getting too scared of the Christmas madness to drive longer distances with it.

Did you know that the FIRST TWO registered cars in the US had a collision? One was registered in Indiana and the other was registered in Missouri (I think) and they met in an open field in Michigan for a State Fair and plowed into each other in 1901!

With odds like that, I fear taking my Z out of the garage as holiday shopping traffic gets worse.

Frank

You lucky guyZ. My Z endures covered in the garage, lots of snow and today ugly rain, flood-prone, horrible 32°F, grey and drab. Drive your Z's as long as possible.....

Hey Thor! Just think of how excited you will be once the weather starts to warm up.

Stephen, you hit the nail on the head. This was my first year with the Z and it was absolutely great. Not only this unbelievable inexpressible feeling while driving but also all the meetings with new friends over here and above all in the US. So I'm not only excited to put the ignition key into the lock again and turn it clockwise, hopefully there will be a chance to meet all you guyZ again.

Thor

Smashbar: Sorry I missed the invite for coffee this morning. I could have been up for it. Z is still uncovered in the garage. Good thing too! TODAY IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE 40'S. Noraleen just might be seen rolling in South Meriden (top up of course).

Frank T: R/T airfare to Europe is up to $1100.00. It's cheaper to chip in and get Thorz here! But then what would he drive?

How expensive is that? If I would book a flight here from NYC to Frankfurt and back (www.expedia.de) it costs 571,10 $.
NYC (LGA) - Montreal (YUL) - Frankfurt (FRA)
Frankfurt (FRA) - Zurich (ZRH) - NYC (JFK)

Don't get any bright ideas. Beside, they are put away for the winter,
other than Lucky 13, which will go back to Vinny for a little more work
when he has a lull in his schedule.
