Looks about 80% sure we will be going down to the Raleigh NC area for
the Triangle Z Car Club show. The show is on Oct 30, and we will leave
a day or two early so as not to kill ourselves traveling. Even though we
should be able to make it easily in one day; we made Nashville straight
thru, and that was nearly twice as distant.

The doctor said it would be good for Kathy to be more involved in things
to keep her mind busy, and we like doing Z things together. Also, Lucky
13 hasn't been "home" for over 34 years; she probably won't even
recognize the place, or any of the people, or understand the dialect.

Anybody want to hitch a ride?- the ride is on us, as we would have been
going down anyway. The back seat of the truck is like a large sedan.
Knowing Kathy, she will probably boot you up into the front anyway.

Well, this could possibly become a two-segment long-distance cruise
after all, not that I couldn't or wouldn't do it straight through.

ZCAR (Z Car Assn of Richmond) is trying to put together an impromptu
evening thing on our way down, so that we get a chance to schmooze
and share Lucky 13 with those Richmond members who won't be able
to make it to the Raleigh event.

This sounds like a very enjoyable trip. What a nice thing to do, Rick ~ you should be proud of yrslf for showing #13 to as many appreciative people as possible (and ashamed of yrslf for hiding it for 30 years!).

I wonder if the Z Doctor is still down there in the Richmond area?
