The cars were spectacular that night, and I'm really glad you got a shot of that newly-painted "metalflake tapioca" car.

Funny Frank, the newly painted white car is the same make and model as the silver one, a VW Corrado. Which according to my VW son, is quite rare and on his automotive wish list.

Hey guys. I hope all is well. Looks like another great event I missed (have to teach on Wednesday nights). Glad my Dad 'represented'.

Perhaps another topic for another day here...I can't say enough about the VW Corrado SLCs (can't speak for the earlier G60s). I had a 1992 SLC (VR6 model) that was an absolute hoot...I miss it terribly and always casually keep my eye out for a clean unmolested one. With bone stock suspension and a set of Toyo RA-1's, my Corrado was in the 1:06-1:07's at Lime Rock...ah good fun.
