 Thanx Phil! I'm trying and I can't wait to join the fun. I guess I could have asked to be a co-pilot for the day. Could've been a camera man.

Steve, I thought of inviting you to ride along with us as we were leaving but I planned to only drive a short way and then duck out to care for my home owner responsibilities. Next time!!

Nice pics Mike! Maybe in a month or so we can try to set up another fun run. Brenda really liked everyones company and enjoyed hanging with Kelly. She commented on how nice everyone was and how smoothly the gathering went. I agreed and stated thats why I love the club. I really appreciate the possitive feed back I got on my Z. It really helps me keep focused on my goals. So If everyone wants we can try to set up something in the future! :D Same food plus pancakes! Frank, you did mention them and think we'll fit them in next time. Stephen S

Sept 18th? or 25th? we can figure it out. trust me Steve i know how it feels not having your Z running. and this club is the reason my Z is where it is today. i love my Z brothers!!!

I feel ripped off because I couldn't make this, but I'm glad everybody (else) had such a good time. You're right Mike ~ this is what the Club is all about. As Ross always says, this is more of a people club than a car club.

My Z still mysteriously quits. I've been wiggling wires and checking the ignition switch (the only two things I suspect so far), but haven't found what's causing it yet. It's just as if I turn the key off for a moment every now and then. I keep thinking it can only be the primary ignition circuit.

I have found, tho, that if I declutch immediately when it happens and blip the gas, the engine catches again and runs normally. That makes me suspect that engine movement (rocking slightly under torque?) might be moving some primary wire into a shorted out position. Declutching might be relieving the torque and allowing the engine to rotate back to normal, which relieves the short.

Just haven't found it yet.

Glad I didn't try to continue to Steve's that day. You guys would have had far less fun if you had to stop every mile because I pulled over again.

I really wanted to zee Steve's Z, tho.

Next time!

Frank

No. All the Z Monkeys are present and accounted for, securely locked up for now. No Z monkeys shall escape on my Watch.

Gremlins, on the other hand, are a serious matter and not to be taken lightly.

They are mischievous little devils and extremely crafty. They can hide in any nook or cranny and present myriad problems without warning.

They are especially prevalent around military aircraft, where they prove themselves to be most dangerous.

Z Gremlins are seldom deadly, but they are most tiresome and frustrating. Let's hope it's not a Gremlin.
