We won't let you forget, Steve. There will be frequent reminders (like this one)

This will be a fun time, which none of us will want to miss. Thor is very much looking forward to zeeing our Zs. His family is being very brave to come here and meet us, and we're going to help them enjoy themselves.

I think there is no such thing as a Z club in Germany. Maybe I'm wrong? But I know for sure there is no German Z club as large or as friendly as ours!

Both is true, Frank!

REMINDER!

One more week before our monthly meeting on August 4th, with professionally-catered free smoked Barbeque picnic and Distinguished Guests from Germany! :D

I just KNOW Thor and his family are running around like craZy, packing for their trip to America (and trying to find Paul's chocolates! ).

We are all looking forward to meeting our only German member and his family and showing off our Zs for him (I want him to drive mine).

Remember, this meeting & free feast will be held at EXECUTIVE NISSAN, 900 Universal Drive, in North Haven. That's exit 9 off I-91, either direction. The BBQ starts at 5PM and the meeting starts at 7PM.
The date is Wednesday, 04Aug. Please put this on your calendar!

Our Motorsports Director, Bryan Little, will conduct the August meeting. He has important information about our upcoming Club AutoCross, which will be held on Sun/08Aug. If time allows, there will also be some video to motivate you!

Some of us will have to work late (or have final exams), so we planned this BBQ to stay open for 2 hours for you.

AND ~ altho the CTZCC has a strict prohibition on any alcohol or drugs at any of our official functions, NOTHING goes better with smoked BBQ than a cold beer. SO, for the first time in our history, we will provide a couple cases of NON-alcoholic beer and soda with your meal.

Hey, that's better than nothin' .

Z you there!

I met Thor and his family in NYC on Friday! They are wonderful, friendly people with good humor and they speak very good English. They are all looking forward to attending the Monthly Meeting on Wed/04Aug, enjoying the professionally-cooked-and-catered smoked Barbeque and zeeing our cars!

Please bring your Z to this meeting if you can. Thor joined the Club and has corresponded with us since last year, and is very interested in seeing what we have done with our cars. Thor has restored his own 1970 240Z and is winning awards with it in Germany. His son Max (16) has musical interests and is getting 'bitten' by his father's Z-Bug. This is a trip which they will all remember and talk about for a lifetime. Let your Z be one of those memories! 8)

Remember, the BBQ starts at 5PM and stops at 7PM. This is planned to allow workers time to get home, grab their Z and their spouse, and commute to the picnic in North Haven. The August Monthly Meeting will begin immediately following the picnic, at the usual 7-9PM.

EXECUTIVE NISSAN/Jeep General Manager Scott Orsini is happy to sponsor our Club event again. He has announced this function on thier website and invited the public to come and view our Zs and learn about our Club. Radio DJs are expected to broadcast live from the site! This will be a happy event you won't want to miss.

Again: Executive Nissan/Jeep dealership, 900 Universal Drive, North Haven (Exit 9 off I-91), Wednesday/04Aug.
Picnic from 5-7PM, Meeting from 7-9PM.

As always, your spouse is invited for either or both events. No alcohol, dogs or coarse language at this family gathering, please.

We all look forward to zeeing you there!

Frank

I'll be there but will probably miss most of the BBQ. Should be there around 6:45.

Cameron+0, should be there for the whole BBQ, but might have to leave a bit early into the meeting.
