A Smartcar and a CorVan???

good turn out yesterday. and i wasn't the only Z for once. after a couple hours of being there what do i see pulling in but an 83 280zx 2+2. i was so excited i ran over to the older couple getting out of this very nice Z. license plate reading "DATSUN' i loved it. i talked to them for a little bit and showed them my car and theyt asked where i get parts. of course i immediately got a CTZCC card out and explained to them to join this wonderful club and there is plenty of people that can help them out. well they were very excited and i think we got 2 more members coming our way. they are from Beacon Falls. the car was gifted to them from the wife's sister. so they asked me to write my name on the back of the card. i wrote both my real name and screen name. so Frank keep your eyes peeled.

It's the duty of every CTZCC member to make sure other Z owners know about this Club. Our brotherhood becomes stronger each time we join another new member.

We try several methods to get the word out about the CTZCC, but word of mouth and the Z Spotter cardz have been the two most-effective means of gathering new-joins. Just this past week, I welcomed FOURTEEN new members!

We CTZCC members should always try to keep a few Z Spotter cars in our car or our wallets. When we zee a Z someplace, we can respectfully place a card under the windscreen wiper or in the door window seal (without setting off the alarm, please ). To print a page of your own CTZCC Z Spotter cardz, go to the website homepage, press on the Z Spotter card in the upper right corner, and look for the icon and instructions.

When you encounter another Z owner, honestly describe your personal experience with this Club. Don't tell them anything but the truth, and invite them to check us out. You already know they won't regret it!

We really have a duty to do this. It can be a lonely experience to own a Z car and not know there are 451 brothers and sisters here waiting to meet them. Ask Rick and Kathy! They spent 30 years mourning over their 3 stored 240Zs because they thought nobody else cared about the carz they loved.

i would say they were in there early 50's.
