My name is Amanda Gardner, and I am one of the organizers of the Washington Car-B-Que in Washington Depot. September 19th, 2010 will be our 4th annual event. All proceeds benefit the local Lions Club (ambulance fund) and a scholarship fund. There are things that make our show unique. We are 100% people's choice voting with 30 trophies, the Best of Show being a one of a kind hand made trophy. It is our way of getting individuals, including children, to become familiar with and develop an appreciation of the collector cars. We also offer car clubs a 50% discount to the show ($5/car) with advanced notice of their arrival. We have two live bands scheduled this year. Our goal is to make the show as much fun for the car owners as for those coming to view the cars.

Last year we added the "Japanese" class and were saddened by the limited turnout. We have a "Modern Exotic" class that would also welcome the Z cars. We have a web site, www.car-b-que.org and invite you and your members to check it out.
