For those of you who may be considering autocrossing this year, below are the schedules of both the CT CART and Fairfield County Sports Car Club. See their sites for exact times and locations of course.

I hope to get a CTZCC group to come and watch/race/or both this spring/summer...so I’ll be showing an autocrossing video at our May meeting to get people primed. Keep in mind that anyone can show up at these autocrosses, even without a group. But to race you have to be onsite by a certain time to register and get your car inspected. You also need a helmet to race, I’ve been told that the Fairfield County club may have loaner helmets(!). See everyone at the meeting!

I'm looking fwd to participating in several of these, and in watching even more of them this year!

Thanks, Bryan! I hope you get out there and show us how it's done properly. I sure am not looking forward to competing against your Z-Rocket!

Anyone have a link to the SNELL approved helmets we can purchase. Nothing fancy.

I just went to the event (6/27) in bristol and it was tons of fun! It is a little hard to figure out which cones you need to go through at first. Sadly it took me 5 runs to figure out that track and my 6th run didn't count which was my best time. I'll probably go to the next one in two weeks.

bring a notebook and a marker and mark where the cones are and study that. i saw a guy do that everytime he was at a CART event. and he has had been doing Autocross since the early 80's.
