Hey everybody! I had a great time. It was nice to see some Z's and meet everyone! Can't wait to get tax return so I can be a step closer to getting my Z on the road. Not to many Z31?!

The Z31 and 280zx seem to be the red-headed step children of the Z world, no offense. I kinda like the Z31... a little. I just can't stand the interior. If I ever got a Z31 though, I'd turn it into a 200zr (RB20DET swap). Hopefully I don't offend anyone with this, but the only part I really like about the 280zx is the fact that some come with a nice motor...

i had a 280zx. my theory is that the 280zx looks like a 240/260/280 just stretched out. the S30's are a much more sportier car. where the 280zx is more like a GT. i loved my 280zx turbo but i would have to say IMO the S30's just are a whole different driving experience.

Well, according to the last time we counted this stuff, we had 42 280ZXs and 111 300Zxs in this Club.

Those are old stats.

There have been many new-joins since we last compiled these stats, and I know personally there are more cars than that in both categories.

Z31's are the red headed step child. Thats why I like it. My goal is to get them noticed and get the respect they deserve. But I like all Z's. It was great seeing all of them! Hey Frank , my wife asked if someone had the million dollars would you have sold your 240z?

Sorry for the delay, just got home from work. Pictures should be uploaded soon!

When I got home from the meeting last night, I walked in to find my PC in the midst of a 12 download "Windows Update" which ended up lasting until after 12:30 AM. Since I had not printed out my tax forms yet, that of course took priority, go figure.....

Good! Its nice to see a well done up Z31 once in a while. They can be pretty sweet looking cars in the right hands.

(tell your wife I am holding out for a firm $1,000,005.
Non-negotiable.
Tell her I said, "thanks anyway ~ Reserve not met" 8) . I might actually consider $1,000,005, but there would still be a big fight before I let it go again. I used to want to be buried in that car.....it means a lot to me).

I was asked the other day (because of my current fuel system issues) "at what point do you just give up and get rid of that car?" To which I replied "Never. I can't expect you to understand."

Both the USMC and my mother before that taught me that I should never give up on something once I've made a commitment. I've been keeping true to that in most of what I do to the best of my ability, and I plan to keep doing so.

Ironically, it was my mother who asked that question.

I have just about the same asking price as you, Frank. I plan to keep this car until I can pass it down to my son/daughter.... bwaHAHAHAHA!! There's no way I'd ever trust any of my future offspring with this car! I'll keep it till I'm dead.

Hey folks, what a nice location. Wonderful pics, perfect meeting, fantastic cars!
I'm sad not to join it.
Whose 240 is the golden one? And the blue one is for sale?
Thor

Thor,

That is Frank's Z and don't be fooled. I don't think he'd sell it even if someone offered the $1,000,005.

Nimmer!

Phil, these are really good photos, some of them even better than your usual great work. Thanks for being such an excellent Photog and for shooting such interesting shots (except that one of me with my mouth full of piZZa).

Notice everyone is smiling, except when I'm speaking! :D
