A hit of Jolt wouldn't hurt, either........want a phone call so we can
pick you up and give you a ride, or would you rather convoy? Oh,
hold it, we'll be coming up from Stratford. But the Jolt and the
phone call would still work!

That's one reason we have to meet every so often, to overcome the no-Z blues this time of year....

Expect fun and friendly conversation!

We normally gather out by the cars and renew old friendships, make new ones, admire the changes on each other's cars, and wait for the pizza to be delivered. Then we take pictures of each other laughing with our mouths full.

About dark, we go inside and sit for an hour while the officers report to the membership about each of our responsibilities, and the floor is open to questions comments and suggestions.

A guest speaker usually gives a little presentation on some item of interest (Rick is scheduled to bring us all up to speed on Lucky #13 this meeting, and the car itself might be present for those who haven't yet seen it) and we remind everyone about upcoming events.

Keith opens the Club Store for merchandiZe sales and we socialiZe until the pizza is all gone, mosquitoes come out, or there are only two of us left in the parking lot.

That sounds like a "light" schedule, but trust me ~ nobody's ready to go home at the end of the meeting. If Bob Sharp attends, he is always swamped by questions (he looks like a flower surrounded by bees!) and he always gets asked to autograph SOMETHING ~ a shirt, a car part, a blank check (that never works) or a bit of old racing memorabilia. We never get tired of hearing his racing stories and he never gets tired of telling them. Sometimes he brings old 8mm movies of his early races and we cheer him on as his C-Production 1970 240Z tramples all over the A-Production Shelby Mustangs, Cobras and Corvettes.

We have a good time, we take pictures, we laugh, we exchange technical tips, and we make new friends.

This is one of the most-friendly Clubs I've ever seen, and most of us know most of us!

THATs what you can expect.

Z you there! Bring your wife or girlfriend ~ we're family oriented. (Leave the dog home, please, and no booze at any of our meetings).
