Yeah, but I'm a sucker for meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and I just couldn't resist. I had skipped lunch after a light breakfast and wasn't looking fwd to the 90 min trip while hungry.

I even ate early, so I could leave on time. I sat down to read the mail as soon as my family left, and the next thing I knew I was waking up alone and the entire house was dark. :?

Am I getting old????

Frank, I really kept looking out the window looking for you....next time I know you will make it.

Thanks Keith for the ride back to CT!

Thank you all who came out for our first winter meetingn Friday night. We had 22 people show up and enjoy a night of Z stories and food. Food was great and a few of us hung around until 11pm. Thanks to Tommy for setting up this location for us, we will def use it again. Also a big thanks to Rick and Kathy who sold Z diecast cars and donated the profits to NYZCC. Rick was also able to share his Z story with us and how he got the three Z cars he has now. We as a club were able to cover many topics and concerns going forward this year. I think there were a lot of positive feedback about what we have planned for this year. I know people made contact with other members Friday night that will prove to be important as many tackle new Z projects over the next few months.

Plenty of clubs cards were handed out for members to give to fellow Z owners, thanks to Dave for picking up 2000 cards for us! Over the next few weeks, we will have more solid dates on events for the summer and also have a date for our next meeting. Again, I can not say thank you enough for those who came out and others who really tried to make it. Now for some pics of the night:

Zya all in a few more weeks!!!! Spring will be here soon~

If there is something you would like to see happen this year please let us know. The biggest theme from the meeting....you get out of the club what you put in.

Thanks.

Well, the wether is predicted to be nearly perfect for this, so the trip to and from Larchmont should be e-Z.

Looking fwd to zeeing y'all there tonight!

The meeting was great except for that old white haired guy who ratchet-
jawed for 20 minutes about some mundane things that happened 35
and 40 years ago.

The trip down sucked, and that's putting it nicely. We left home at about
5:00, figuring maybe an hour, hour and a half with the southbound traf-
fic being the lighter of the two in the evening. You know, so we could
arrive early and spend some extra time with the guys. Yeah, right. How
about 7:30 or beyond? Traffic up the gazoo, disabled 18-wheeler in the
middle lane, you name it. Lot of people trying to disprove my theory that
"two cars cannot occupy the same space at the same time."

I could have run there faster with Kathy riding piggyback, and I'm a lot
older, slower, and weaker than I used to be. I was hoping to contact
Sully so I could get an escort and guide from a squad car to expedite the
trip with the siren going and lights flashing, but that failed too.

Good thing the camaraderie and repast were so good, or it would have
been a total wipeout! Thanx, Clive and NYZCC, you saved the evening!!

Thanks for all the support from our New England brethren! As an infant club still wet behind the ears, it really makes us feel warm and cozy, seeing such support. Truly good people, are Z people. :D

Sorry to hear about the, less than ideal, commute. I think our own, Captain Sully, can arrange for a better trip next time. We will work on it.

I got a kick out of Rick when he overheard us talking about Megasquirt. He seemed a bit thrown by the terminology. I must admit, the first time I heard "Megasquirt", I was a bit apprehensive myself!
