Ok guys, Joe and I were throwing around the idea of having a Z only track day. This event will be open to the other local Z clubs but will be a NYZCC event. We can have a max of 20 cars and will cost about $120 each. We would have the track for 6-7 hours. Plenty of time to do something you always wanted to do...drive as fast as you can! We were thinking about some friendly runs, bracket racing and much more. Finally, Joe can show me how slow my LS1 car is to his.

Depends on the feedback, maybe we can do a weekend or a weekday. I do need people to get back to me early enough so I can book us for an early day in the Spring. If you do not want to do an all out track day, this may be for you. You can drive your car as hard as YOU want to. I know we have a few v8 cars, turbo cars and NA setups. The event would be held in NJ. More details to follow but as of right now, I have four people who def want to do this event. This only leaves us 16 people needed.

Here are some other people I thought may want to join from NYZCC and please tell other Z guys you may know :

Jeff
Sunil
Both Alex
Pedro
Jimmy
Bob
Tom (lt1)

Anyway please let me know over the next few weeks if this is something you may want to do. I know we can get some CTZCC guyz there! :D

Depending on the final timing I would almost certainly be game for this :)

Weekends or weekdays work better for you...also which days. Thanks.

Early spring wont be enough time for me to get the bugs out of the Z.

I'm not sure how many others are doing major upgrades, but I personally don't want to break down on the way.

May perhaps would be acceptable.

Weekends are always free, weekdays can work with enough notice. I meant more any yet-to-be-revealed business trips/family events/etc. I would imagine a weekend will probably be the popular choice though.
