I think so, RIF. The flyer didn't say "no", that I read.

OK, so it's $30 per car if you enter for judging. What's the admission fee if you dont want your car judged (you just arrive in your car as transportation and walk in?). Are we charging parking fees?

I will attend this, but I have motel reservations for Friday night, so I'll already be there when you CTZCC members arrive. I'll leave Saturday to be back here in time for Sunday.

Ross, I think I still have your cell number so we can coordinate as you get close. This looks like fun and the more members we can get to attend, the better.

This is our FIRST ANNUAL group thingy with these other clubs. We need to put up a good turn-out. It's only 4hrs driving time to Carlisle if the weather and traffic are good. The show starts at 10AM so anyone leaving CT by 0600 should (should) get there in time.

BE AWARE that it costs $30 (per car, two people) to get on the showfield at Carlisle events. This is the weekend fee for the "Import/Kit Nationals" at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.

YOU CAN REGISTER AT THE GATE, or online: www.carlisleevents.com .

The way I understand it, it is another $30 (includes lunch) to be judged in the separate "East Coast Z Nationals" hosted by the 5 Z clubs, within but separate from the Carlisle event. I would assume that if you do not want to be judged for the ECZN, it is not necessary to pay that fee.....

BY THE WAY, it looks like a crew from ZCCR will represent with 7 Zs carrying 10 Z Nutz....

Z You There!

Well, a new change now requires me to be here on Friday night, so I have cancelled my motel reservation at Carlisle. I would now like to convoy with you CTZCC guyz on Saturday morning. I'll be driving back here Saturday night.

Assuming you intend to travel thru NYC, should we muster at Darien Nissan early in the morning, and deploy from there?

Frank

I just received clarification on the fees for Carlisle:

Admission is NOW (after May 2nd) $30.00 to enter Carlisle (all 3 days) plus $10.00 for the ECZN People's Choice Show on Saturday. If anyone is planning on going to the track, Drag Racing is an additional $30.00 or $10.00 for attending/show on Sunday.

I'll be in Mechanicsburg Friday afternoon, (how fitting for me,) and pay at the gate. If I can find the place that had some of the best ribs I've had, thats dinner plans for Sat. Eve, unless there are any other plans.

Not certain I'm gonna make it now. Colin's wake and funeral are pretty important to me. I'll know more later today.

We would have liked to have gone to Carlisle and taken a shot at that
"Best In Show" trophy, but as it happens............
Car is still undergoing Vinny's meticulous refurbishing
Appropriate trailer is not yet ready
Kathy will be doing volunteer work that day.

And now, a much higher consideration to add to the list:
The tragic Colin Foote event, whereupon we would prioritize heading
East rather than West even if the other criteria did not exist.

All Z Best,.................................Kathy & Rick

OK, let's do a roll call:

1) Ross & Mike T
2) Paul Jensen
3) Paul Mackin

Anyone else definitely attending this event? If so, please add to this post.

Thanks
