Owners of pre-1984 automobiles are encouraged to display their cars at no charge in our large fenced parking area at this family oriented event. Admission is free and there will refreshments available along with great music and plenty of free parking.

Ross,

Are you going to this? It sounds interesting as h*ll, to me.

Griot's Car Care are the products that I was mentioning to you @ Shelton. Good stuff, I highly recommend them.

Another event that I can't attend. It really does sound like a cool shop to see. I have to stick around to wait for the delivery truck with the new 240Z on it. It is probably coming on Saturday.

As much fun as this event sounds, and it does, I'd much rather be at home awaiting the delivery of a (new) Z. I'm gonna get you out again this year, Mr. Cerutti, if it kills me ...LOL... Good luck on Saturday. Let me know if I can give you assistance in any way. Peace.

Tommy

P.S. I may go just to meet some Griots' guys. I've bought so much of their stuff, I think I practically know them personally.

Tommy,
Unfortunately I'll be travelling on business starting Saturday for a week. So I won't be able to make this event. Will have to keep connected via the web-site! Great speaking with you last Sunday. Ross

Frank,

Excellent. If the weather is good (fingers crossed), I will see you there. I've never even heard of this restoration place (Black Horse), but I think it may make for an interesting afternoon.
There should be a lot of nice cars there, and I do love the Griot's products so I am looking forward to meeting them.
Plus, another ride down CT Route 25 in the Fall is a bonus.

Tommy

P.S. See, doesn't this beat sleeping in late and praying for the Packers...LOL...

I had this on my calendar but will unfortunately have to miss it. That day has been set aside for pulling my new Z car out of its long time resting spot and starting the resurrection

DO THAT!

The resuscitation of any Z car is more important than shoplfting parts off a museum full of other cars!

These folks are the sponsors of the Wheels and Wings show that Colin and I attended, they showed some gorgeous cars at that event that they had restored... Currently looks like a 70% chance of rain on Saturday, would be cool to check out their facility though......

Hate to break you guys' coglioni, but it was worthwhile getting out in
the rainstorm for, as I think Mike Rosann would attest. Some REALLY
great cars, mostly under construction, many quite rare (several
200-something, and others up to say 4000 total production). In from
virtually all over the world for resto (England, Italy, Argentina, China
to name a few). A really informative, professional, knowledgeable
presentation by VP/host Mitch Marsico~ is there anything he doesn't
know about every client and every vintage car? No questions about
the cars in the facility went unanswered! E parla molto bene Italiano!

I learned that there are various degrees that fall under the heading of
"restoration," anything from getting a car back into a nice weekend
driver all the way to a Grand Concours winning trailer queen. It all
depends on the initial condition of the car and the thickness of one's
wallet! He dialogues w/every client before taking on any job in order
to qualify exactly what the client's goals are and what he is willing to
spend to obtain them. It also fascinated me to learn that many items,
including sheet metal panels, can be (and often are) hand-formed
onsite when necessary, such as when a worldwide search proves futile.

Wish you were there w/us, but we'll try to answer your questions half
as well as Mitch did for us.........................Kathy & Rick
