Well since I can't make the 31st due to prior plans, I would like to Zee a slue of Z's one more time this year. Well we all know the 26th is a big day for us Z nuts, So I feel impelled to do something this year in honor of the car that made us who we are today. This is a quick desision for me, so this is what I can offer..............a place to park your Z and talk about Z cars. (I could fit around 60 Z's, so plenty of space.) ummmmm, maybe I can offer more, like some food and drink, maybe a cake for celebration, a free parts grab and of course a drive around town to show of the #1 sports car in the world. What I have in mind is a quick stop at our Nissan dealership, a drive through historic Newport, around the ocean drive and possibly end up at Castle Hill and watch the sunset and remember our beloved friend Paul Newman, for this is a place he visited quite often. So these are my thoughts, if anyone is willing let me know so I may plan accordingly. Even if it's just 2 people or 60, for 2 people gathered by a Z, it's a Z gathering as the Lord would have it. (No rain date, this is it.) Time is 11 am , at 1 Sundown Lane, Middletown RI, 02842.

Paul, that sounds very tempting. Count me in assuming the weather cooperates... Who else is in??

The meeting date is the 24th? As in next Saturday? (The introduction of the Z cr was actually the 22nd, but that's close enough). Not sure my car will be back out of Vinny's by then or not ~ it's going back for some add-ons this coming week. But I have other vehicles and if I can't take the Z I could drive one of them.

What could I bring, Paul?

I gave serious thought about going, even asked the wife.

Then she asked me if i knew what day it was. Of course I said "NO"

forgetting important dates like anniversaries. That's why I chose the
4th of July, so at least I would have half a chance of remembering...
Also no matter what day of the week it falls on, my boss can't deny
me the day off to be with my wife!

Frank, If you can't bring the Z it's ok........the 300 is here, so you can still feel connected. So the 22nd is the anniversary, well, I'm still close by 2 days. You know whats funny, I chose that date for our anniversary because Lisa and my birthday both fall on the 24th of different months as well. So figured I can't screw that up. I guessed wrong.
