Frank, you are completely right, that was the only reason to saddle myself with the import!
And, please, don't forget all the curves in this lovely region.

Annual Tail Of The Dragon Meet - N.C. / Tennessee Smoky's - I'm don't remember the "facts" - but it is something like 12 miles with 350 curves - beautifully paved State Highways..

Hi Guys:
Thanks - The really neat thing about this event - is that the drive to and from the event is almost as much fun as the event itself. The leg from Clearwater to Atlanta can be somewhat boring - but once you get North of Atlanta the scenery starts to get interesting and driving more fun...

It would be far better coming from the North East... you would get to see the Heart of Eastern America. Take two or three days on the drive down and stop to smell the roses and take in the views - as you drive the scenic routes on State Highways..

So Put May 20th - 23rd. on your Calendars - and make your reservations very early. at the Fontana Village Resort.

FWIW,
Carl B.

That's awesome Carl! My brother in law was just there. He's in the Air Force Reserves and did two months of training in the area. He checked out the Tail twice. Once I get my Z running I will be visiting the Tail myself. I definitely want to take afew days to get there.
